Having recently reached Beatport number one with ‘Urban Shaker’, Manchester-based DJ/producer Sam Curran readies three new productions for Jamie Jones’ renowned Hottrax this April. Gaining previous support from Jamie Jones, Sidney Charles, and Franky Rizardo, Curran is back with another bass-heavy production that ensures an impressive return to the label.

The title cut ‘Twilight On The Terrace’ brings rolling low end and playful vocal interjections that create a rousing club track, while the bumping ‘Eric’s Rumble’ showcases a reverberating bassline in true Hottrax style, paired with dizzying drops and wonky stabs. Closing out the EP ‘NRG’ harnesses crisp hats, snaking bass grooves, and moody, infectious samples to journey deep into late-night territories.

Kolter makes his debut appearance on Solid Grooves with the low-slung sonics of 'I Feel It Right'.

One of the scene's most consistent talents when it comes to records making a serious impact, yet an artist whose distinct trademark style still brings an endless supply of unexpected surprises, Cologne's Kolter has entered a new chapter in his artistic journey in full stride. Appearing for the London favourites last summer at DC10 with a special back-to-back to soundtrack the Grooves Motel alongside Chris Stussy, he steps up to make his label debut on Solid Grooves to close April with the slinking, garage-tinged sonics of his new single, 'I Feel It Right'.

Combining classic UKG-influenced stabs and skippy percussion with sporadic electronic fills, soulful vocal snippets and snaking low ends, the bubbly 'I Feel It Right' is a track drenched in classic UK flavours while providing a wealth of slick flips to proceedings. ALISHA makes an impressive debut outing on Hot Creations with ‘Changes’, backed by a remix from  Chicago house legend Mike Dunn.  

A bubbling name within the UK house landscape for several years, it’s fair to say that 2022 was the year  that ALISHA truly emerged as a surging name of note, dropping stand-out material via Eastenderz and making  appearances at Warehouse Project, Shelter, INPUT and Amnesia for Jamie Jones’ iconic Paradise events. Continuing his rise as an exciting artist within the Netherlands' rich and fruitful house landscape, Amsterdam's Dennis Quin is blossoming as a name to know, with his take on the genre landing across a wealth of labels, from Dungeon Meat to Madhouse. James Poole makes his Hot Creations debut with his three-track ‘Miss Tony’ EP, featuring  collaborations with Mizbee and Sugur Shane. 

Hailing from the North of England, DJ/producer James Poole set about following up an early release on Lee Foss’  South Of Saturn with an impressive double header of releases on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax imprint last summer and at  the end of 2022. Marking a big label debut in style, he joins Jones and Foss’ iconic Hot Creations for the first time  as he uncovers a trio of productions spanning a wide-reaching range of influences across his ‘Miss Tony’ EP. 

“Here it is! I’m so excited to share my debut EP on Hot Creations - a label I’ve dreamt of working with  since day one. From eccentric disco vibes, to darker vocal moments, this release is one that I’m really  proud of and I hope you’re all feeling it!” - James Poole.
