Bondar & Papa Marlin make their Hot Creations debut with their new single, ‘Supa Fly’.

Adding another label to their collaborative discography, the pair link up once again for more driving funk on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ iconic imprint, set to release on 19th April 2024.

Boasting collective and individual releases on esteemed labels such as Toolroom, Dirtybird, Relief, Sola, South of Saturn, and Realm, Ukrainian talents and frequent collaborators Bondar and Papa Marlin have garnered notable recognition from industry heavyweights like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Solardo, Gorgon City and Dombresky, alongside securing plays on BBC Radio 1, serving as a testament to their addictive groove. Now, the pair showcase their exceptional production skills as they make their mark with a label debut on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Creations with their latest single, ‘Supa Fly’, promising more killer house beats.

The dancefloor-ready ‘Supa Fly’ showcases both producers’ vibrant styles, weaving together catchy vocal snippets, warping synths, and a grooving backdrop of rumbling bass for a club-busting house cut.

Since his production debut in 2022, Jhojho has quickly gained a wealth of industry supporters, including MK, Mau P, and Low Steppa. His lively and jacking house sound has led to releases on Detlef’s Issues, including his two-track ‘BUSTED’ EP, which paved the way for his BBC Radio 1-backed collaboration ‘Shut Up!’ with the label head via elrow music. Now making his most significant label debut to date on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, the Techords boss pays homage to Mousse T.’s timeless house anthem with his tantalizing single ‘Horny,’ featuring vocalist Mizbee, who returns for her third outing on the imprint.

“After following the label for a long time, it feels surreal to be joining the Hot Creations family and that Jamie embraced my sound. Hailing from Brazil, Marian weaves the rhythms of his home country into every track. With releases on Hot Creations, CUFF, and Deeperfect, plus his standout seven-track EP ‘Marian Moods’ on Mood Child—backed by Joseph Capriati and Marco Carola—his momentum keeps building. After appearing on Hottrax’s ‘Jams Vol. 1’ alongside Yolanda Be Cool and Fast Eddie, he now steps up for a solo return and delivers three dynamic cuts mixing old-school vibes with new-school energy. 

“This EP was really inspired by Jamie Jones’ sets—the music he plays, the energy he creates, and the tracks I love to listen to and play myself. It’s a fusion of old-school and new-school, blending a lot of styles mixed in these three tracks with a powerful bassline in all of them and a touch of Latin sauce.” - Marian. 

Up first is ‘Hands Up’, a slinky house mood with punchy beats and warping rhythms vibrating through its core. ‘No Paramo’ follows, injecting a playful funk with rolling percussion and crisp bongo accents, nodding to his Brazilian heritage. Closing out, ‘Keep On’ strips things back to a refined, understated groove, balancing deep bass tones with smooth, effortless movement.
