An artist whose groove-led sound has seen him embedded as a favourite within the global house scene for the past decade, wAFF is a name that needs little introduction. Having previously landed on the label at the end of 2019 with a trio of high-energy cuts across his bumping 'Panwa' EP, the UK mainstay makes a long-awaited return to Solid Grooves to open September as he steps up to unveil his latest single, 'Breevin'.

An artist who understands groove, Nicola Gavino’s sound echoes vintage flavours with distinct funky and fresh rhythms. His summer has been a busy one, with performances at the likes of Kappa FuturFestival and his long-running residency at Turin’s Audiodrome Club, plus releases on Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE imprint, SOSA’s label COCO, and more. Now, as he steps out on Jamie Jones’ revered Hot Creations for the first time, the Italian talent puts his best foot forward across three peak-time house cuts inspired by the label boss himself.

“The main track was inspired by a video of Kappa's mainstage in 2022 recorded from a friend's phone. Jamie was playing this glitched edit of Sweet Dreams (which I only found more than a year later) which really blew my mind. I watched it so many times that I felt the need to make something myself, recreating and exaggerating that special vibe. The track being. chosen by Jamie himself for Hot Creations is more than a goal and an honour for me; it is about paying respect to a label and a DJ who always inspired me and which I look up to.” - Nicola Gavino

With its sharp synths, feel-good trumpets and deep driving bassline, the spirit of Chicago house is present in opener ‘Givin’ My Love’. Next, ‘Lazer Tool’ offers a more modern minimal sound, rich with percussion and distorted SFX. Closing out the EP, ‘Pump Up’ combines elements from the first two tracks with cutting percussive kicks, warping distorted vocals and a grooving hypnotic bass that’s destined for the dancefloor.

Mid way through an immense yearlong tour celebrating 10 years of FUSE events, Enzo Siragusa unveils his second album of 2019; A Decade Of Rave Volume 2.

Volume 1 (released in April 2019) exhibited 10 solo tracks from Enzo that meandered through his 10-year journey at the helm of FUSE.

Volume 2 brings in the four members who have remained at the core of FUSE history; Rich Nxt, Seb Zito, Rossko and Archie Hamilton, each collaborating with Enzo to create seven straight-talking dance floor cuts that have fuelled FUSE parties, capturing the essence and development of the “FUSE sound” over the last decade.
This is the first time FUSE fans will see all five work together on one release and is a testament to the watertight friendships they have built. Rich Nxt and Seb Zito were by Enzo’s side at the very first FUSE party back in 2008, while Rossko and Archie Hamilton climbed the ranks up to the booth from the dance floor, starting as fanatic weekly ravers of the party.

Enzo and Rich Nxt set the tone for the batch of euphonic collaborations that follow, starting with ‘See you In Ten’ and the straight up grooves of ‘Enriched’. Rossko cuts in second to bring us the engagingly propulsive ‘Dreamers’. Archie Hamilton takes a deeper direction with ‘Aviva’ and ‘Direct Line’. Finally, Seb Zito kicks the gear back up weaving garage influenced elements into ‘What’s Going On’ and closing with low slung ‘What’s Happening’. All tracks testifying to each resident’s deftness in creating atmospheric gems with the mastermind behind FUSE.
