Rising British house producer Tim Taylor makes his debut on Hot Creations this May with the four-track Do You Like...EP. The release continues a standout 2021 schedule for the young talent that has seen him deliver on Deeperfect Shift already this year.

Tim described the inspiration behind the release, stating: “For the entire EP, I was thinking what would sound cool if it was played live by Jamie. I have always loved the darker, funky music he plays and it inspired me massively for this EP.”

Do You Like sets the pace, pairing prominent kicks with a spiralling acid-twinged bassline. Check It soon arrives, taking on a deep-tech-inspired feel with pummelling drum patterns before Scratch strips things back, featuring subtle hats and minimal-tones throughout. Vibrate brings things to a close, a late-night dance floor number that showcases the up-and-coming Brit at his best.

Tim Taylor has taken the UK electronic music scene by storm in recent years. At twenty-one years old, the young upstart has already landed a Beatport top 10 placing thanks to his 2018 release Everybodies Talking. His edit of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean has amassed more than three million plays online, whilst performances at clubbing institutions such as London’s 93 Feet East and Manchester’s Gorilla have helped propel him into the UK spotlight. Backed by an array of well-established talents in the contemporary dance sphere, including Jamie Jones and Michael Bibi, 2021 looks set to be Tim’s biggest year yet with a soon-to-be-announced UK tour.

Stuttgart duo Tomi&Kesh return to Pirate Copy's Kaluki Musik this November, this time teaming up with Romanian DJ and producer, Cosmin Horatiu to deliver their brand new, 'Heavy Hitter' EP. Since forming back in 2016, Tomi&Kesh have come along way in the Tech House scene, now heavily regarded by many for their distinctive and captivating sound. Cosmin Horatiu has also had a successful career within the industry and between both artists their records have found homes on labels including Under No Illusion, Great Stuff, NONSTOP, Toolroom, Lemon-aid and more which has led to support from heavyweight DJs; Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Steve Lawler, wAFF and Dennis Cruz. Following on from the huge success of their last release together; Sirens, Mark Jenkyns is back under the Hot Creations umbrella alongside his longtime collaborator Mizbee. Allow us to introduce Soulfood EP. The four track release also features a vocal appearance from profound lyricist Sheff and a remix by tech house virtuoso Inxec.

Typical of Hot Creations, Jenkyns opens the EP with a dynamic beat. Questions feat. Sheff is a funky, fierce anthem brimming with catchy melodies and arousing vocals. Relish in Northern singer/songwriter Mizbee's charming vocals as she guides us through the bustling second track; Soulfood. There's something about Mizbee and her stunning voice, encased in a compelling bassline and jazzy piano tunes, her pleasing lyrics flow throughout Heated. Inxec brings his special touch to his Questions Remix, a lively take on the original, complete with resounding horns and a mid-way vocal breakdown.

When asked about the EP Jenkyns remarked: "I feel this EP is food for the soul, it has something for everyone, grooves a plenty and jam packed full of great vibes!", and what a delicious meal it is. 2018 is set to be an exciting year for Newcastle-born Jenkyns, with an array of tracks set to be released this year on the likes of Desert Hearts, VIVa, Cajual and Resonance Records. Fellow Geordie Mizbee has an exciting year as she puts the finishing touches to her highly anticipated first album. Sheff, hailing from the Midlands has had a pious musical career beginning as an editor before finding his calling in electronic music. Remixer Inxec boasts support from some of the scene's biggest names including Sasha, Lee Burridge and Craig Richards.
