Ramin Rezaie returns to Solid Grooves sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw with 'Lucid Dreaming'.

A favourite amongst the Solid Grooves family and an individual at the heart of the imprint under his role as label manager, Ramin Rezaie keeps delivering inside the booth and in the studio as he shapes his clean-cut sound as a DJ and producer on the rise. Having launched his own label Silky Records to open 2022, May sees a welcome return to Solid Grooves Raw as he turns in fresh heat with 'Lucid Dreaming'.

Harnessing his trademark rubbery basslines amongst slick percussion, bright stabs and hypnotic, hazy vocal interjections, 'Lucid Dreaming' delivers yet another early hours roller from the label regular as he continues his ongoing hot streak.

Breakout UK artist Toby Simpson returns to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this July.
Previously appearing on Hottrax, The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin Headz, and many more, Toby Simpson’s music has seen support from the likes of Marco Carola, Lee Foss, and of course, Jamie Jones. Returning now to Jones’ label with ‘That’s The Way’, the UK-based DJ/producer brings another two tracks built with energetic drum grooves, wobbling basslines and trippy percussive elements. 

He kicks off with 'That's The Way', a tight and steamy house cut with bristling drum funk, turbocharged stabs, and addictive vocals for an intense yet stylish heater. The brilliant 'Retro Bass' is a fiery cut with explosive energy, hard-hitting drums meet tough synth stabs and wild vocal loops all add to the colour and character.

Solid Grooves close 2023 with the fifth instalment of 'Raw Grooves' as Blackchild, Ramin Rezaie, Carloh, Bassel Darwish, and Alvaro AM return alongside a selection of exciting debutants.

With notable releases across the year from the likes of Route 94 and Secondcity, Beltran, Max Dean, Audiojack and JUST2, to name a few, Solid Grooves' sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw once again maintained its presence as one of the most supported labels amongst the record boxes of the scene's biggest names while soundtracking highlights at the collective's summer Motel Casino residency at DC10. Rounding out another impressive twelve months, mid-December welcomes the arrival of an annual highlight for fans of the label with the latest edition of its ongoing Various Artist series, 'Raw Grooves'.

Bringing together a collection of label favourites coupled with a selection of new names, the fifth instalment sees the return of Blackchild, Ramin Rezaie, Carloh, Bassel Darwish, and Alvaro AM, plus impactful debut outings on the label from the UK's Marcellus, Spain's CHMPLOO, and Argentinian pairing Zaren & iicchigo.
