Solid Grooves favourite Blackchild is the next to land on Hot Creations with the Groove Dealer EP. The three track release serves up heavy-duty club rollers, moulding Blackchild’s early influences with a contemporary flare. 

Title track Groove Dealer kicks off proceedings with a heavy sub-bass and chopy hats as melodic brass tones add the key ingredient. Siempre is next up, following suit with elevating brass notes, punchy percussion and dreamy synths. Rounding off the EP, Inmydreams is a deep and dark cut built for the late night hours, ignited by the blissful and hypnotic vocals. Blackchild reveals that "this upcoming EP on Hot Creations represents exactly what my sound is. The inspiration for these tracks come from all the old Jazz and Motown records I used to listen to growing up, with a modern Blackchild touch." 

Originally from a small island in the gulf of Naples called Ischia, Blackchild is the artist name for Italian artist Gennaro Filisdeo. Heavily influenced by his father‘s record collection, he grew up listening to Hip-Hop, RnB, Disco and old school House music. He began to produce at the age of eighteen, but it was in 2019 that Blackchild joined the Solid Grooves roster, which led him to play at statement venues and festivals such as Printworks London, Auditorium Torremolinos Malaga and ADE Festival. 2020 saw chart success with his track Sexy Thing going straight to #2 in the Beatport Top 10 Tech House Chart and #5 in the Overall Top 10 Chart. 2021 looks set to continue in the same direction with a busy release schedule on the way.

Next up on Kaluki this August, we are welcoming another label newcomer, this time in the form of Brighton based DJ and producer, Endor, who makes his debut on the imprint with his brand new, 'Rock The House' EP. In just a few years Endor has already made some seismic waves in the industry, cementing his image as a prolific DJ and producer. His innovative bootleg of Skream's 'In for The Kill' has propelled his explosive entry on to the scene, crystallising his international career that has seen him play at clubs & festivals all over the world. His releases have been signed to respected labels including Defected, Repopulate Mars, Universal, This Ain't Bristol, New State, Under The Radr and more, alongside securing his own radio show on Reprezent Radio. The club focused 'Rock The House' EP reflects Endor's signature sound, showcasing punchy kicks, percolating rhythms, extensive melodies, robust drums, hypnotic chopped vocals and wobbly bass; resulting in two killer tracks that were made for the dancefloor.

Solid Grooves welcomes back Romanian DJ/producer JUST2 as he returns with 'Multicore'.

Whether he's delivering the goods solo or alongside regular collaborator and close friend Luca M, it's now pretty clear that DJ/producer JUST2 and Solid Grooves' sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw may be a match made in heaven for those looking for stripped-back, no-nonsense cuts. Stepping out on the label for the first time this year, mid-March sees the Romanian talent return with fresh material for 2023 as he serves up the slinking, crisp grooves of new single, 'Multicore'.

In typical style and signature form, 'Multicore' is another production built for dark, intimate spaces with heavy lowend sound systems as punchy kicks and warping bassline patterns work beneath evolving vocals for a track set to make dancefloors move.

Two of the UK's premiere house music talents, Londoner Route 94 and pan American talent Secondcity have been behind stand-out modern-day anthems alongside a string of underground cuts since their retrospective breakthroughs and sharp ascents onto the global electronic scene.

Having linked up for the first time ten years ago, the duo join forces for another big effort as they head to Solid Grooves Raw with 'Vamo'. Charged with energy and bustling grooves, 'Vamo' is a lively percussive cut and a vibrant anthem as playful and hooky female vocals twist around the warping synths and rolling percussion arrangements for a production perfectly at home on Solid Grooves Raw.

Having both collaborated with a wealth of names across recent years, the two DJ/producers unite for the very first time as they both make their Solid Grooves debuts. The result is 'Quarterback', an impactful and hooky production armed with vibrant vocals, rolling percussion, and skippy grooves - showcasing a blend of the two talents' individual styles to a tee.
