Having returned to Ibizan mecca DC10 for a third year with a fresh take on their Casino Motel concept and building on their sold-out Off Week debut in style, Solid Grooves' summer is in full swing as the world-renowned collective showcase once again why they're at the top of their game. With a string of chart-topping singles already released in 2024 and a series of highly-anticipated drops just around the corner, late July welcomes a bonus surprise with the sixth edition of the label's VA series, 'Raw Grooves'. A highlight for many, dropping via sister label Solid Grooves Raw, this latest edition comes following the success of December's fifth instalment and brings a selection of cuts at the perfect time in the height of summer.

Miami's Mr. Diamond returns, having appeared on the first-ever edition of the series, while Belgian talent Lunoize and Itay's Boogie also make second appearances following solo releases on the imprint. Also welcoming a host of fresh faces, label debuts come from Spanish talents Aaron Martin and Erik Chico, Italian's Blacksun and Wilder, and Brazilian's Luke Drash and Panna - expect more peak time material as the groovers continue to deliver!

Continuing to champion forward-thinking sounds from established and rising artists, Solid Grooves welcomes back a familiar name to sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw to close the year as Romanian DJ/producer Kidoo marks his triumphant return. Having touched down on the label in 2022 with 'Yoruba', featured on 'Raw Grooves Vol. 4', the exciting talent looks to add to heavy support from industry giants including Joseph Capriati, Mochakk, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, and Solid Grooves founder Michael Bibi. Landing hot on the heels of his standout collaboration 'Mezcal Bounce' with SOSA, he now serves up his latest single 'Hora de joc' as his final drop of 2024.

At just 22 years old, Brazilian DJ/producer nocapz. has already built an impressive catalogue of releases on labels like Nervous Records, SOLOTOKO, and Organic Pieces. This year, a standout moment in his career came with the release of ‘Coming For Ya’ on Gruuv—a summer anthem that was heavily supported by industry heavyweights ANOTR and quickly became a dancefloor hit. Now, as the year winds down, he takes the next step in his journey with his label debut on Jamie Jones' Hot Creations, delivering the bass-fuelled four-track ‘More Love’ EP, which also features a collaboration with fellow Brazilian artist Marian (BR). “After a year with more than 10 releases, ‘More Love’ EP certainly is one of the works I'm most proud of.
The first three tracks of this EP were produced in one week, and every Jamie Jones support during his Paradise residency in Ibiza meant a lot to me. It felt like I was daydreaming. This four-track release represents nocapz. in its purest form as it brings to life all my influences of club culture through energetic basslines and classic rave synths. Kicking off with thick, pounding beats, ‘More Love’ features chopped vocals with a nostalgic vibe that seamlessly blend into a deep, bass-heavy groove. Keeping the momentum, ‘Getting Heard’ drives forward with quick, bouncy beats and heavy synths that build a wave of intensity to the dancefloor. ‘One Shot’ packs a punch with thumping kicks, keeping the EP's energy fierce and pushing the track to its peak intensity.
