Hi to all,

After having done the « Stupid Cat » remix for Max Bett on FORM MUSIC in 2012, Soliman is coming back alongside Patrick Kunkel for one groovy and surprising track called « I Can't Dance No More ». Difficult to define exactly which style it is, but we felt in love at first listening : a groovy Bassline enhanced by several drums, congas, bongas, hits playing like if it was recorded as live consolidated by a melancolic melodic MINIMOOG Leader and FM8 & PREDATOR PADS. Most of the voices were recorded by Soliman himself. Rythm & drums where composed via abbleton personalized Drumracks, Drumazon drum machine VST or 808 emulator or via MASCHINE NATIVE INSTRUMENT. 
The Mendo remix is pure dancefloor tech house loop as expected whereas the Villanova remix explores in details the techno side with a unique hardware sound.

Soliman : One of the main parisian newcomer artist, Soliman has signed some releases on Harthouse (founded by sven vath in 1992), RAWthentic (Carlo Lio's imprint) , VIVa MUSiC (alongside his german friend and artist « SANTÉ »), JETT, Escapisme Musique, Regular,. He did some good remixes for artists such as Max Bett, Aldo Cadiz, Nakadia, Leghau, Superslut, Oscar Sala et Fran Alberola, Citizen Kain on labels such as Tanzbar, Neverending, My Little Dog, Bluf'in, JETT, Form Music etc …..

Patrick Kunkel : Working for 9 years as the Cocoon rec digital label manager, he just quit cocoon to work for Redbull few weeks ago. Patrick kunkel artistic carreer began in 1997 by playing in sevral bands but he really focused on studio work around 2009 by releasing tracks on labels such as Micro.fon, International Freakshow and keinemusik or by collaborating with Guy Gerber for teh track called « Sleeping in a Bass Box ». In the last years Patrick released 2 remixes on Cocoon Recordings and also produced the Ibiza-Spotlight-Podcast for Cocoon Recordings, which represents the sound of the label for the summer 2010+ the Bonus Mix for the „Sound Of The Eleventh Season“ by Sven Väth. He also mixed the retrospective Mix-CD oft he „ 11 Years Cocoon Recordings“. German hammer !!!!

Mendo : 
Mendo means it when he says, “Music is the most important thing in my life.” The striking new star of the Cadenza crew has devoted 18 years of his life to dance music – and he is bursting with enthusiasm for the next 18. Born in Geneva to Spanish parents, Mendo’s first encounter with electronic music was through pirate radio. 
 in 2003 he and Chab founded Clarisse Records. Mendo released a string of hits on Clarisse including “Play Me With Your Sound” which Roger Sanchez snapped up for Stealth Records.
Thanks to his tireless production work and infectious DJ sound Mendo reached all the right ears. Luciano was so impressed he signed “Remember” EP to Cadenza Records in 2009 and “Encantos” EP in 2010. This was the beginning of an exciting collaboration which has seen Mendo join the Vagabundos to ignite Pacha and Ushuaia in Ibiza. When he’s not running with the Cadenza crew, Mendo is globe-trotting to destinations as diverse as, Japan, South America, USA , Germany and UK, giving fans a chance to soak up his incredible four decks Traktor sets that blend the best of house, live sampling and techno futurism. Mendo plays at some of the best clubs on the planet: Womb, Tokyo; Panoramabar, Berlin; Cielo, New York; and D-Edge in Sao Paulo. "The key to a successful party is to get girls dancing. Once they dance, everybody does,” Mendo says. “I just want people to have a good time with my music.” Mendo is currently working on productions including “Stages of Life” EP for Cadenza, and has a packed DJ schedule. But he thrives on pressure. “It is exciting to produce a song, then play in front of thousands of people and make them hysterical,” he says. “DJing is the best job in the world.”

Villanova : Adrien and Marc Antoine teamed up in spring 2012 to form VILLANOVA. Their first release ''Mothafunk Ep'' on Denote records received general acclaim from music critics,producers and djs. Supported by artists such as Steve Bug,Arnaud Rebotini,David August, Ryan Crosson,Ivan Smagghe or Jamie Jones, their music got played in every big music spots for the last months.They perform live or dj and always captivate the crowd with their good humor,technical skills and perfect selection of sexual house and tech house gems.Laurent Garnier and Agoria are keeping an eye on them and they got voted one of ''coup de coeur'' 2012 by TRAX magazine,what's coming for Villanova seems pretty good.

SOLIMAN (VIVa Music, Harthouse, Escapisme, JETT) 

Soliman enters the world of techno and house music at the age of 6 owing to classical tracks “Big Fun” and “Good Life” by Inner City. In 1999, Soliman has listen to and absorbed all kinds of techno  music and other types, that is when he decides to start Djing. Hardtek/hardcore/acid core at first, then he decides to focus on  techno, house, acid house or shranz. He also goes in depth by being interested in refined types of music such as Detroit techno and Chicago house. 2001 is the year where he listens to minimal music for the first time, through labels like M-nus or Sender Records. At this time, he starts making his first sets, in a deconstructed way with 2, 3 or 4 turntables, on which he puts his own samples and loops. 
In 2005, after finishing his studies he decides to completely focus on nightlife as a full-time job, promoting and co-hosting parties in Paris. One year later on May 10th 2006, he plays his first public shows for a “Traveller Back” party at Batofar, with great artists such as Popof, Noisebuilder and Banditos. At the same time, he launches its first monthly parties: “Emergence” at La Fleche d'Or and Rex Club, “Une Aventure Xtra Musicale” at Glazart, co-hosted with Ozore Age until 2007. Then, from 2007 to 2010, he organized many other monthly parties, like “Minimalyse This” at Opa (2007-2009) and “Attractive” at Batofar (2008-2011). During this period, he also promoted and co-hosted the Jett Records parties (created by Fred Siera and Gregory Honore) in famous places such as Batofar, Elysee Montmartre, Barramundi and Djoon.
In 2008, Soliman decided to focus on music composition, and one year later he is spotted by Citizen Kain and Jaümetic. He also released a remix on the famous Spanish label Regular records. Just after that, he made remixes for artists such as  Superslut, Phuture Traxx, Citizen Kain (on his label Neverending) et Leghau. On Frabon Records, he made a remix for Flavio Lodetti & Lownza in a vinyl format. In 2010, he is spotted by Ahmet Sendil from Bosphorus Underground and releases his EP “11th Arch” in October of the same year. Also signed on Regular Records, he releases the “Coeur de Lion” EP on Jett Records at a vinyl format (remixed par Salvatore Freda , M.in & Santé), which is supported by prestigious artists like Ritchie Hawtin, Luciano, Reboot, Butch. Soliman keeps on releasing new projects, like these two remixes on Jett Records with Tom Clark for Nakadia et Aldo Cadiz; and just after that another remix is released on the same label for Aldo Cadiz (with Tom Clark and Sierra Sam). But as a versatile artist, Soliman also appreciates to play as a duet, with Sante (Cocoon, Souvenir Music, Jett Records), with who he makes two releases on two mythic labels:  VIVa Music et Rawthentism, respectively Steve Lawler's and Carlo Lio's labels. Finally, the EP “La Jeunesse” is relased in Mars 2012 on Harthouse, Sven Vath label created in 1992. His remix of Oscar Sala et Fran Alberola – Felicjanek was played by Dubfire, and he made many releases on Jett Records (“Soul Tears” on their “Aces” compilation, remix of Aldo Cadiz's Zaze Klap ) and Escapism Musique (“Oreille Cassee” EP).
Former Artistic Director of Jett Records (Fred Siera's label) and former Jett Booking's manager, representing the following artists for France (and Asia for some): Aldo Cadiz, Martin Eyerer, Alex Flatner, Santé, Kiko, Citizen Kain, Piemont, Jules & Moss, Salvatore Freda, M.in , Popof, Julian Jeweil, Noob,... ; Soliman has now many other projects. He is currently Label Manager of Form Music (Popof's label) and also manager of the booking agency Lutetia. He will also be part of Aldo Cadiz last EP (December 2012 in vinyl format on Tanzbar) with a remix of “Move”.
