David Hammond, known by his stage name Solis [US], is a Madison, Wisconsin-based producer specializing in deep progressive house. His sound often carries an uplifting melodic quality, shaped by his early musical journey as a bassist at age 15, later transitioning into jazz and lead guitar. 

Solis [US] aims to offer listeners a more sophisticated and emotionally nuanced experience, moving beyond the beat-focused or typical dark, minor-key moods common in dance music.
