Stairway to Heaven follows the story of the Sun who is the Angel, who falls down to Earth. Lost in a foreign land, Angel very quickly loses touch with her roots; her power. she loses all tethers to her divinity slowly at first, and then all at once. She begins looking for refuge, for a hand to hold, to ground her in such strange lands. After what feels like an eternity, a hand stretches out to her and even before a thought crosses her mind, she takes it. Fear drives Angel to desperately cling unto her new lover.

hey, i’m bipolar. 

i got diagnosed halfway through quarantine this year. i’m not sure if i was worse off before or after finding out....the jury’s still out on that. it’s interesting that i’ve dedicated so many years of my life to learning and advocating for mental health because understanding my own illness has been the greatest struggle. the point is....i’ve been a mess this year. i relapsed several times with my battle with self harm & there are several points i was ready to end it all. & because of all of this (and other factors) releasing music was very hard for me. 

i’ve beat myself up a lot for not releasing music on all platforms for you guys this year....i had a plan...a story...and it was beautiful. it still is, and it’s still yours. 2020 has been a cataclysmic year for many of us but i know nothing happens by accident. im still not sure what lessons 2020 tried to teach me exactly, but i’m trusting the process, trusting the Universe & trusting God. thank you to everyone that listened and continue to listen to ‘Ruled By Venus, Unfortunately’.....the story continues next year brighter and boundless.
