Inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estés canonical text, Women Who Run with the Wolves (1992), the eponymously titled Donne che corrono coi lupi is a dedication to feral feminine energy, connection and sisterhood. In the book, Estés – a psychoanalyst, poet and cantadora, or “keeper of old stories” – draws on Jungian theory to weave an alternative mythology of The Wild Woman archetype. She conjures images of the underworld, rivulets of menstrual blood; a lumpen mass of placenta splattering onto a cave floor. In a mirrored gesture, for Donne che corrono coi lupi, more than twenty artists and producers have come together, giving rise to a primal, mystical compilation destined to entrance and ensnare.

'Violence Of The Lambs' is the first single off of Solitary Dancer’s forthcoming LP, ‘Rites Of Passage’. It will be released alongside a music video directed by Montreal-based Ghanaian filmmaker, Will Niava. Niava is currently working on his first feature-length film with Oscar-nominated director, Jeremy Comte.

‘Violence Of The Lambs’ was purpose-written with the idea for the video in mind, prompted by a growing frustration with the state of law enforcement within our cultural moment. The video aims to both engage and reinforce the need for public outcry surrounding police brutality and racism, amidst thousands of senseless cases in recent times.

'Rites Of Passage' is the first release on Solitary Dancer’s imprint, Private Possessions. After having released on some of the world’s most esteemed underground labels such as @DarkEntriesRecords, @Graded, and @Optimo-Music, Private Possessions was borne out of a desire to control all aspects of output pertaining to the development, creation, and dissemination of their music, video, and other media.

Sepehr Alimagham for his debut album ‘Shaytoon’. Drenched in nostalgia from his upbringing, ‘Shaytoon’ pays homage to 1970s Iranian albums that were on rotation throughout his youth. Eight tracks of twisted acid, left-of center electro, sludgy psychedelia, and things-you-can-maybe-call-techno are a few of the sonic elements found within. Regular listeners will find Sepehr’s signature perspiratory dance-floor vibe, but some songs also showcase a low-slung, cerebral approach. Sepehr's unique sonic palette carves an interesting space in the dance music world by harnessing the spirit of his cultural ancestors. The artwork pays tribute to ‘70s Iranian pop and funk albums with bold Farsi calligraphy and portraits by Sahra Jajarmikhayat. In relation to the music, the album cover creates a dichotomy much like Throbbing Gristle's ’20 Funk Jazz Greats’. Berakhs (Dance).

Time Bullet is a debut LP by Nikita Chepurnoy aka Minereed, the founder of label Echotourist that originates in Novosibirsk, Russia.

End Titles is a sixth track of the album, that was inspired by 60-70s psychedelic music as well as hip hop, ambient and breakbeat, and was wrapped in a modern sound of today’s electronics. The result, as the musician states himself, does not sound like a nostalgic attempt of rethinking the music of the past, but rather as looking forward than backwards. That’s exactly how End Titles sounds.
