It’s been a heater of a week, so we’re keeping the sunshine vibes strong with this belter of a mix from @oldboytrax 

Some of the SOLITUDE crew are over in Croatia for @noise-london festival and we’ve been rinsing his mixes non-stop. Perfect ones to kick back to. 

His guest mix in particular is gully from start to finish. As always with SOLITUDE mixes, we ensure you hear lots of high quality, unreleased music. Wait till you hear Oldboy’s dub that opens the sections. 

Hailing from Sheffield, Oldboy caught our attention with his grimey remixes, rolling sub bass that accompanies almost every tune, and his flair to flip unique sounds and samples into head boppers. He’s remixed audio sourced from everything  from The X-Files to grime cyphers. 

His latest 4 track release “Grimey Ones” does what it says on the tin. Check it out after you give the mix a spin on beatport.

MIX SERIES: 009 / OLDBOY

SOLITUDE launched in 2021 during the pandemic as a means to connect and inspire up and coming underground artists to audiences across the globe.
