Bongo The Bear is a platform video game developed by GemSoft and originally released for the Nintendo 64 video game console on 29 June 1990 in North America and 17 July 1991 in Europe. It is the first installment in the Bongo series and follows the story of the titular character Bongo and sidekick Benji as they try to stop the plans of series antagonist Orion, who intends to steal the Heart of the Jungle. The game features nine nonlinear levels where the player must solve puzzles, jump over obstacles, gather objects, and defeat opponents. The soundtrack, by artist SOLMN (in collaboration with Richard Hector)was never given official release.
