Hay Progressive House Plantys,

endlich ist dieser lange Montag namens Januar vorbei. Wer braucht denn schon 31 Tage die alle Montag sind. Und der Februar wird ein langer Dienstag???... Puh aber 
die Tage werden wieder etwas länger und meine Pflanzis sind so dankbar, dass sie immer mehr Sonne am Tag geniessen können🌱

Apropos Pflanzis: Meine zweite Dieffenbachia hat beschlossen das Zeitliche zu segnen. War ja klar! Entweder habe ich ihr zu viel Wasser gegeben oder zu wenig – immer das selbe mit denen. Und diese Heizungsluft... gar nichts für meine Pflanzis! Dennoch meine drei Strelitzia´s, fünf Monstera´s und sechs Fici´s (ja das ist die Mehrzahl von Ficus) gehts so ziemlich gut.
Im Großen und Ganzen kommen wir durch den Winter – mit ein paar weniger Pflanzen, aber dafür mit viel mehr Geschichten über ihre tragischen Schicksale. Wie sieht’s bei euch aus? Seid ihr auch bereit für den Frühling oder genießt ihr noch die letzten Züge des „Ich-habe-keine-Ahnung-was-ich-mit-meinem-Leben-anstellen-soll“-Winters?

Finally, that long Monday called January is over. Who needs 31 days that all feel like Mondays anyway? And February is gonna be a long Tuesday??? Pheeeww, but at least the days are getting a bit longer and my plants are super grateful they can soak up more sunshine during the day! 🌱

Speaking of plants, my second Dieffenbachia has decided to kick the bucket. Not surprising! I either gave it too much water or not enough – it’s always the same with them. And that heating air... totally not good for my plants! Still, my three Strelitzias, five Monsteras, and six Ficus are doing pretty well.

All in all, we’re getting through winter – with a few less plants, but way more stories about their tragic fates. How about you guys? Are you ready for spring, or are you still enjoying the last bits of the “I-have-no-idea-what-to-do-with-my-life” winter?

Hay Progressive House Plantys,

es ist März! Das bedeutet für mich ab sofort: Es ist Frühling! Diese kalte, graue und deprimierende Zeit namens Winter ist vorbei! Mir war noch nie so bewusst, wie schön der Frühling ist. Bis zu jenem Gespräch am Fenster, als ich sagte, meine Lieblingsjahreszeit wäre der Sommer. Und mir wurde dann erst so richtig klar gemacht, wie schön doch der Anfang von allem ist... Die Natur erwacht, die Temperaturen sind milder. Man beobachtet, wie die Sonne jeden Abend ein bisschen länger scheint. Man erwacht morgens und es ist hell! Und diese verdammte Heizung läuft nicht mehr auf Hochtouren. Alles beginnt zu blühen, und Berlin ist wieder erträglicher. Man geht an Cafés vorbei, wo Menschen draußen ihren Kaffee genießen und ihr Gesicht in die Sonne halten.

Ich beobachte meine Pflanzen, wie sie langsam aus dem Winterschlaf aufwachen und sich schon erste Ansätze neuer Blätter zeigen. Wir haben den Winter überstanden (mit einigen Verlusten) und es ist herrlich, morgens ins Wohnzimmer zu kommen und alle meine Pflanzen im hellen Sonnenlicht strahlen. Das alles spiegelt sich in meinem neuen Set wider. Vom Kalten ins Warme. Von Frozen Green zu Healing.🌱

Dear Progressive House Plantys,

it’s March! That means for me, it’s officially spring! That cold, gray, and depressing time called winter is over! I’ve never been so aware of how beautiful spring is. Until that conversation by the window when I said my favorite season was summer. That’s when it really hit me how lovely the beginning of everything is... Nature is waking up, the temperatures are getting milder. You can see how the sun shines a little longer every evening. You wake up in the morning and it’s bright! And that damn heating isn’t cranked up to max anymore. Everything is starting to bloom, and Berlin is bearable again. You walk past cafés where people are enjoying their coffee outside, soaking up the sun.
I’m watching my plants slowly wake up from their winter sleep, and I can already see the first signs of new leaves. We’ve made it through winter (with a few losses), and it’s amazing to walk into the living room in the morning and see all my plants shining in the bright sunlight. All of this reflects in my new set. From cold to warm. From Frozen Green to Healing.🌱

Hay Progressive House Plantys,

herzlichst willkommen zur 10ten Episode von Snips with Plants! 
Ich freue mich riesig, euch endlich auf YouTube begrüßen zu dürfen. Von nun an gibt es jede Folge hier auf dem 'languages music' Kanal zu sehen. Mein monatliches Set wird weiterhin auch auf SoundCloud zu hören sein. Alle Links findet ihr unten.


Kommen wir zu meinen Pflanzis. Leute, was soll ich sagen? Denen geht's gut. Jeden Tag hat mindestens eine von ihnen ein neues Blatt. Es beginnt wieder die schöne Zeit, in der es in eine 8-Stunden-Pflege-Umräumaktion eskaliert. Man überlegt, ob und welche umgetopft werden müssen, neue Standorte werden ausprobiert, düngen, braune Stellen wegschneiden und alle Blätter entstauben und besprühen.
Wobei man sich völlig verliert, alles drumherum ausblendet, entspannt abschaltet und dem Alltagsstress entflieht.
Und nebenbei entdeckt man schöne neue Musik. Passend dazu präsentiere ich euch meinen neuen Mix! Zur Zeit feier ich Savvas und beginne mit ihm, zudem habe ich auch frische neue Tracks wie zum Beispiel von Andfolk & Hannes Bieger. Zwei unreleased Tracks von languages music sind auch mit dabei. Now, let’s talk about my plants. Guys, what can I say? They’re doing great! Every day at least one of them has a new leaf. It’s that lovely time again when things escalate into an 8-hour rearranging session. You start thinking about which ones need repotting, trying out new spots, taking care of them, misting, fertilizing, and dusting off all the leaves. You totally lose yourself in it, tune everything else out, and escape the daily stress. And on top of that, you discover some awesome new music. So, fittingly, I’m presenting my new mix to you! Hay Progressive House Plantys,

Was geht? Seit Tagen habe ich einen Track im Kopf, der meine Stimmung perfekt widerspiegelt – „One“ von ODAX! Der hat mich so fest im Griff, dass ich schon überlege, ihm einen eigenen Platz auf der Couch anzubieten. Er macht gute Laune und weckt die Vorfreude auf den Sommer, der schon in den Startlöchern lauert. Mega!
Und das ist noch nicht alles! Ich habe auch zwei unreleased Tracks für euch am Start: 
einen neuen  mega , ultra , super , kracher Hit von Sudhaus und eine Boba Fette Groove-Bombe von languages music. Also dreht die Lautstärke auf und feiert eure gute Laune.

Ich habe mir heute eine neue Monstera gekauft. Es ging einfach nicht anders – ich liebe diese Pflanzen! Ich kann einfach nicht genug von ihnen bekommen. Meine erste Monstera, die ich vor vier Jahren adoptiert habe, hat sich auch wieder gefangen. Sie hatte einen kleinen Kampf mit Thripsen und war fast im Pflanzenhimmel, aber jetzt schenkt sie mir Blatt für Blatt. 
Was ich von ihnen gelernt habe? Geduld! Und ja, gebt niemals auf – selbst wenn ihr mal einen kleinen „Blattverlust“ habt!

Dear Progressive House Plantys,

What’s poppin? I’ve had this track stuck in my head for days that totally matches my vibe – 
“One” by ODAX! It’s got me so hooked that I’m thinking about giving it its own spot on the couch. 
It’s such a feel-good track and gets me all hyped for summer, which is just around the corner. Awesome!
And that’s not all! I’ve got two unreleased tracks for you: a new housy mega super dupa banger from Sudhaus and a fresh groove bomb from languages music. So turn up the volume and celebrate your good vibes!

Oh, and I bought a new Monstera today. I just couldn’t help myself – I love these plants! 
I can’t get enough of them. My first Monstera, which I adopted four years ago, is doing better too. 
It had a little battle with thrips and was almost on its way to plant heaven, but now it’s giving me leaf after leaf. 
What have I learned from them? Patience! And yeah, never give up – 
even if you have a little “leaf loss” now and then!
