Solo performance piece for bass clarinet written sometime just prior to 2006. If I remember correctly, I had this piece performed in my senior composition recital at the University of Redlands.

A very short chamber piece for oboe, clarinet, and bassoon that's sort of a miniature tone poem. I wrote it very quickly hardly changing any notes at all. I was trying to be impressionistic, and I'm not sure how well it worked. Whatever.

Passage to Serenity

It's based on the harmonic content in the Mad Forest theme from Castlevania III. Obviously, this track is a lot uglier than basically everything else ever made, so...

Remix of a theme I wrote for a game project. The one for the game project is a MIDI file, but this version was done using Garage Band for iPad.

Mellow

Long overdue recording of a piece for solo guitar originally composed sometime prior to May 2006. I'm not really sure exactly what year.

This recording was produced by splicing multiple takes together. Even so, it's a pretty rough recording. The recording took place on 12/29/2011.

The piece is performed almost entirely by tapping the strings rather than plucking or strumming them to get them vibrating. The exposition and its recapitulation involve playing two different parts in different time signatures with the two hands. The middle section includes a great deal of improvisation, though I typically play something pretty close to the same thing every time.

Listeners who heard my performances of the piece prior to 2006 may be aware of some changes. Certain passages have been removed. Others have been expanded.
