Fourteen years past the second millennium B.C., a mad man by the name of Aurelien Riviere flew on an old blazing broomstick to San Francisco to deliver for the first time an unearthly  musical performance for an intimate gathering of ghoulish souls in a dark and spooky space full of fog and cobwebs, spiders and lightning, severed heads and dungeon chains and sinister supernatural forces. And on this spine-chilling night a menacing duo by the name of Solomon & Sadao assumed the bloodcurdling duty of welcoming these ghoulish souls to the nightmare. Solomon & Sadao - Opening Set for DoubtingThomas - Sui Generis Halloween 2014

Solomon & Sadao is the musical duo of Dan Sherman and Alex Blackstock. The pair created the partnership deep in the playa during the summer of 2013, fusing together years of independent musical work and friendship. The collaboration is a project Dan and Alex made not only to ponder their musical connections as artists, but also their personal connections as friends. Together, the duo aims to explore the emotional nature of their sound and above all, joyfully share it with others. 

Dan and Alex were resident DJs and co-founders of the experimental music performance series Concept that ran seasonally in San Francisco, as well as the intimate underground event series Sui Generis, which showcased live acts by electronic music producers who were/are pushing the forefronts of electronic music.
