Jonas Rathsman announces his latest offering with cutting-edge innovators Crosstown Rebels. ‘Complex’ featuring Josef Salvat is released on 10th June 2016.

This is a tech-blues odyssey, an introverts primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman’s explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. Enjoy the journey. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, ‘Complex’ has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, “receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation” according to label boss Damian Lazarus. ‘Complex’ is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016.

The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut.

With his instantly recognisable sound, Jonas has found praise the world over for his keen ear and transcendent sets, which have captivated listeners on both the international club and festival scenes.

Following his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Rathsman continues to showcase his technical capabilities and impressive track selection with his bi-monthly mix series ‘ELEMENTS’, now on its fourth instalment.

Some bleeps and 80’s synths building the start for “Goliath“. Within seconds we have summer melodies and an uplifting groove - welcome Sébastien Léger with his first complete EP on Einmusika. An anthem without a doubt with a lot of passion created. Our boss Einmusik prepared a remix of that epic song with his typical signature. Starting with a deceptively relaxed pace, this version will catch your breath. Mister Léger bringing “Serpentine“ for the B-Side, more heavy and loaded with a great bass. A perfect mixture to finish the summer season.

For the 27th JEUDI issue let’s welcome back one of the label headhonchos Doctor Dru. The “Savannah” EP is uniting his past as a drummer and his feel for hooky, layered arpeggios in a perfect manner. Dru’s tracks are always welcomed sureshots on the foor. His last contribution “The Pattern” stirred up the summer in Ibiza in 2015 and was played to death by major league artists like Solomun or Nic Fanciulli. This year his infamous remixes of D-nox & Beckers “Serenade” on JEUDI , Nico Stojans “BLUE HOUR” and Sailor &I’s “Letters” stirred up the festivals and foors around the world. We are sure this release will fnd his way in the playlist of many DJs as well.

The “Savannah” leads you in the wide of the african steppe merging multi layered arpish melodies into one fne percussion driven hypnotizing tune. Of course with never missing the hands up moment.

“Praerie” is featuring a little darker atmosphere but not less percussion driven. You’ll fnd Dru’s signature drone with trancy melody interjections. But the breakdown is what made the tracks name. Inspired by the west coast synth melodies of the late 70’s it comes suprisingly and with just the right power to make the crowd freak out.

BONDI - Land Of The Blind

After two years since his last solo release, the DM.Recordings head honcho, D-Malice is back with a statement release that marks his return. In the last two years, D-Malice has been far from absent in the underground music scene as seen through his successful remix of PAMLFooD's Mitende that came out earlier this year. 

Entitled 'Minesweeper', this track undeniably exhibits his musical talents in producing high energy sounds with character. Aggressive drops immersed in stems that are bound fill the dance floors of venues where played. We anticipate an EP to follow this from this afro-house veteran.

Plano B celebrates their 8th birthday with a new release from Ikaro Grati - Down Memory Lane.

Ikaro says "This track explains the nostalgic moments that both adults and young adolescents can experience. By using a melancholic synth, I try to bring back those childhood memories. In combination with the bells and the light percussion, I try to maintain the 'floating moment'. The lyrics explain almost everything. Remember the things we did when we were young. Boys went out to play and fell out of trees while the early maternal instinct of girls kept them safe at home. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with all kinds of responsibilities that life offers us. People need to remember to enjoy life and not to rush things too much. But maybe we are not always ready for that? For us, the solution to a temporary escape from reality, is recollecting our stories from the old days. Reflecting on moments of the past can take a second, a minute or even a whole day. For me it takes a song in this case."

On remix duties for today's premiere, we find Sonic Future and Sanio & Zarth, who intensify the vibe, and add a more percussive swagger to grace the vocal loops and emotive smile inducing breakdown'.
