We have finally reached the second EP of our trilogy. 'Caminho' has just landed with six tracks, just like the first EP, 'Horizonte'. We've brought new guests for this journey: Afro Wav, Kaysha, Lilly Randa, and Peter Rodrigues are the three new artists joining us, and once again, Alex Kasion returns, bringing Sanduk, adding that familiar flavor from the first EP he was part of.

'Caminho' marks the middle of our journey, where we share our story of collaboration and our interpretation of afro house over the past 10 years. To fully understand this project, we recommend listening to our first two EPs, leading to the roots of the album ''Raizes'', which will be released in March 2025 to complete our trilogy.

After opening up the account on their new label earlier this year, Krankbrother return to the imprint with two new tracks, which show off the differing shades of their musical dexterity.

Up on our Debut Transmission is A-side ‘When You’re Watching Me’, a fully formed Summer belter, which ticks all the boxes required for a modern day, sunrise dance classic. A thunderous sub-bass line booms over delicate drums, the percussion lightly soaked in reverb as the filters open and close on the soft & melodic arpeggiated riffs.

All the hallmarks of a classic piece of euphoric electronica are here, best exemplified by the syrupy female vox and Balearic tones, and a hefty breakdown that really ramps up the drama. Shades of the 90’s big guns like Underworld and Fluke are here, but perhaps more in the grandiose style in which ‘When You’re Watching Me’ has been delivered, either way, it’s most certainly one of Krankbrother’s best to date.

‘When You’re Watching Me’ is released for digital download on 3rd August 2015 via Krankbrother Records.

Swiftly becoming a regular fixture on a series of respected underground labels such as Haute Musique, Spring Tube, The Purr Music as well as Ready Mix, Arkadiusz Salski aka Salski is a 25 year old producer from Poland. 

His latest offering is a tender deep house cut titled 'Can See'.  Smooth, sweet and melodic throughout. 'Can See' blends classical pianos, soft electronic touches and languid, rolling beats with an enthralling vocal sample to create a meditative and poignant piece of music.  

Serbian production powerhouse and The Purr Music Bossman, Marijan Raskovic better known as 'Jelly For The Babies' is first up on remix duties, making good use of the track's addictive and sweet melody to go deeper still, reminding us all why he can count Mark Knight, Groove Armada and Hernan Cattaneo among his many fans. 

Next up to remix 'Can See', another Ready Mix stalwart, Deep Active Sound, takes the controls, steering the track in a more progressive direction with a bass groove that borders on scandalous. 

Wrapping up our musical package with a beautiful ribbon, Spennu aka Sezer Uysal delivers an atmospheric, stripped back reworking, tugging the heartstrings while shining a spotlight on the powerful piano and vocal parts.

Their own label, built with no creative boundaries, Radau is a playground where the Berlin quartet remove all limits and expectations and dig deep into the mindset and experimentalism that united them in the first place. 'Frequent Tendencies' sets the scene perfectly. A loosely hewn sliver of emotion constructed just a smidgeon off grid, there's a natural momentum as we're thrust deep inside a vociferous synth hook that rises unapologetically, gradually taking us to a surprise pivot. From here the articulation switches, a whole layer of weight and emphasis on the riff opens up and your crowd won't just elevate, they'll levitate. With plenty more music due on both Radau and beyond, it seems GHEIST's impeccable acceleration over the last two years will continue for a long time to come.
