Gianluca Ricciardi was born in Rome on October 4, 1976, he  has studied piano since the age of 5.He first studied with Maestro Bruno Canfora and then continued his studies in jazz and blues with Maestro Vladimiro Marcianò.
Since 1998 he has specialized in the production of soundtracks for short films and projects of video art of worldwide circulation, collaborating with the Elastic Group of Research.
From 2001 to 2006 he was Director of the Gospel “Singing for love” and toured Italy, in the same year he began to collaborate with the “Unbound Voices” Gospel Choir as pianist and arranger. In those years he was also composer and arranger of new age music for the magazine “New Age & New Era”.
In 2002 he was appointed Professor of Musical Theory at the “Lu.DE.S” University of Lugano. He  composed the music for the project “Perimetro” by Pietro Taricone, and was a guest of Fiorello on viva radio 2.
From 2004 to 2006 he worked between Portugal and Germany with the project “MCE – Emotional Chromatic Music” in collaboration with the Tor Vergata University of Rome. From 2006 to 2012 he devoted himself to teaching at the “Simphony” Music Schools in Frankfurt and “Gold Key” in Kiev.He currently holds the course of modern piano at the “Melody Music School” and “Staff Music School” of Rome .
Since 2006 he has collaborated with the Edizioni Sound Diva and with GB Music and Tricorus for commercial soundtracks  and TV trailers.
In 2010 he wrote the music for the multimedia show “Out of Control”. In 2011 he wrote the music for the theatrical show “Cinemagico” for the Brancaccio theater in Rome.
In 2012 he was author of the book “The modern piano” an effective method focused on modern piano music. In 2013 he composed the soundtrack of the film “A un passo dal sogno” produced by Lions Gate, distributed to cinemas throughout Italy by the Horizons Group.
In 2013 he produced the soundtrack for the film “Le Clochard” for Main Production. 
In 2017 his album “solo piano” was ranked in 155th place on iTunes. In 2018 he collaborated with the Sissa University “Advanced International School of Advanced Studies” composing music for institutional campaigns (Radio / Tv) for RAI Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
Currently there are over 40 of his albums available on Itunes, Amazon, Feltrinelli and the most important digital platforms.
