The 6th chapter of Summer Sol is here, and its time to sun bathe, sun gaze, and shower yourself with light. We present to you 28 stories of sunshine, to warm your heart, and move your body into a state of happiness.

This season we have our most internationally diverse line up to date, with artists from 21 countries: Mexico, USA, Spain, Mali, Turkey, Colombia, France, Argentina, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Morocco, Ukraine, Chile, Netherlands, UAE, Switzerland, Belgium, Hungary, Armenia, and Australia.

We welcome several new artists to the label like Dj Chus, Balam, La Payara, The Scumfrog, KÖNI, and Depart, to name a few. And we also have many seasoned Sol veterans like Sabo, Dandara, Amine K, Giovanny Aparacio, Mula, Amentia, and Chambord.

The music drifts from coast to coast, across several mountain ranges, deserts dunes, and salty oceans, spanning years of generational influences. The tempos, melodies, and rhythmic combinations take us from chill out, to groove, to tribal, to afro, to deep. We hope this music inspires, and carries you on a world wide tour.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us to a parallel dimension lit by the frequencies and energy of the SOL.

He began his experimentation with house music back in 2014, and since then, his work has become synonymous with a distinct, immersive mood. His tracks are a refined cocktail of emotion and rhythm, where elegant melodies meet a pulsating beat, inviting the listener to either dive deep into their own thoughts or surrender entirely to the flow of movement. He now presents his debut work, "Don't Wake Me Up," on QulaqAs Records. According to the artist, "In this track, I wanted to merge beautiful chords with a powerful groove - so the melody is felt just as strongly as the rhythm." And to our ears, he has absolutely succeeded.

This destination EP fuses Pandhora’s psychedelic rock and organica inspirations with rich berber sounds. The tracks were birthed from impromptu jam sessions in the Siwa Oasis, and retrace the steps of two guests in Egypt and the musical souls met along the way.

Menna Hussein's vocals open up the expedition on Fatnis Island, nestled between sweet Ney flute frenzies.
Infinite Sahara Skies sweeps across dunes to the tune of Nomad Saleh’s dancing dulcimer, riding organic percussions that carry it all the way from the Island. 
Wrapping up the journey, Siwa swells from the ground up as we are smoldering through ruins of the Shali fortress, electric guitar in hand.

These grounds are one of the most isolated settlements in Egypt. In ancient times, they belonged to the revered Oracle of Amun, “the hidden one”. Today, we are delighted to encounter some of Siwa’s energy through the sounds brought back to us.
