On January 20th, 2012 I released my album Yours Truly for the world to hear. I had no way of anticipating the success this project would have, reaching #1 on iTunes Hip-hop, charting on Billboard, and most importantly connecting with fans worldwide.

On this 3 year anniversary of the album release, I've uploaded the entire project for stream on Soundcloud for the first time along with personal commentary on the creation of every track. This is for my people who connected with this music and continue to listen to and share my story, Yours Truly.

Risks pay double if you learn to read amounts.
Suit up clean for the jobs that denied me,
Tears in my shirt but my will stood beside me.
Ups came slow, but the downs hit quick,
Vices in my path had me thinkin’ I was slick.
Watches on wrists, some tick, some flex,
Xed out calls from the folks bringin’ stress.
Youth fades fast, but the lessons, they stay,
Zip up the past, move ahead every day.

Air in my lungs feel richer with the truth,
Benz on the street but I’m walkin’ in my boots.
Cameras flash quick, only catchin’ what they choose,
Data in the cloud but the soul’s what you lose.
Elevators stall, so I learned to take the stairs,

Gas light on, still drivin’ to the meeting,
Handshake deals while my stomach kept bleedin’.
Ikea table where I write my fate,
Junk mail dreams tossed out too late.
Keys to an old flat, paint on my palms,

MacBook screen glow, beats in the queue,
Nike box stash holdin’ all that’s true.
Only thing certain is the clock won’t stall,
Paid in respect if the cash don’t call.
Quality moments over quantity gains,
Rose gold chains don’t outweigh the stains.
Subway rides taught me patience and grit,
Truth in my tone when I’m talkin’ my shit.
Used to want plaques, now I’m buildin’ my name,

Wallet might fold, but my mind won’t bend,
