The ever-reliant Deepchord kicks off 2014 in his usual stylish way with two deep cuts in the Luxury EP. After last years jaunt into the ambient with 20 Electrostatic Soundfields, Rod Model return to the world of slick beats and even dreamier synths and atmospheres. 

Luxury 1 ebbs in majestically as beautifully crafted layers of synths glide across field recorded drops of water that instantly play with your senses. Pumping sub bass fills the rest of the spectrum as Rod does what he does best by creating an unending slick groove, pieced together by crisp percussion.

Yet more atmospherics come into play in Luxury 2 as otherworldly field recordings are brought to life through the use of Rod's unique processing and layers of dream state synths. A perfectly worked groove seems to come out of nowhere and glides gently under the atmosphere; again subtle percussion ties everything together seamlessly. 

The master of Deep Techno strikes again with nothing short of 2 elegant works that typify his skills as a producer.

Border One, one of the leading figures of the Belgian techno sound that became a movement in Europe, has released on world-class labels like Token and SK_eleven. He now presents the 31st release of LDG. The release features remixes by LDG founders YUTA and O-MA, and Shinsuke Goto, whose remix marks his debut.

Exosignal by Border One is crafted with his main principle in mind "making the audience dance". The track is set to LDG’s signature mid-tempo, with sudden pads creating a unique and dreamy development, showcasing true craftsmanship.

The YUTA/O-MA REMIX is mid-tempo minimal techno with a distinct bassline, sharp hi-hats, percussive yet groovy elements, and subtle, refined techniques.

Shinsuke Goto’s REMIX, his debut track, is high-energy yet deep, layering a wavering lo-fi feel with tape-modular-like sounds, creating an addictive, immersive, and trippy modern techno.

Mastering is done by techno legend Peter Van Hoesen. BETA07, blending the refined and beautiful sound that LDG pursues, will be released 5 November.

Jerical Records is the self-titled vinyl and digital techno imprint that serves as an outlet for his raw and hypnotic analogue cuts.

Jerical returns for the sixth EP entry to his highly regarded label with 'Earthly Pleasures.' Once again he shows his production quality by bringing his revered experience to the forefront, following a previous releases on Pfirter's MindTrip, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Zadig's Construct Re-Form, Oliver Rosemann's Recorded Things, and Tar Hallow.

"Macrocosm" kicks off proceedings with stomping, mechanical percussion, modular bleeps jam and a jackin' vibe ready to take on the dance floor.

Second on offer, "Astral Voyage" has a more hypnotic sound, with dystopian sonics swaying over a raw rhythm, and spaced-out groove.

"Danger Zone" is next up, where phasing pulses swirl over a throbbing kick for an intense, analogue workout.

Closing is "Journey Home," with its standout, bouncing acid lead that subtly morphs in all the right places, while the skipping rides and hi-hats create an awesome machine-funk.

Confusion’s Vakuum EP lands as the initial release of a new imprint with the same name founded by the artist himself. The first release marks a six-track exploration in stripped-down, minimalist sound design. Raw machine energy and hypnotic repetition drive the record, each cut crafted with precision and clarity. The result is a deep, timeless release that embodies the essence of modular production: focused, uncompromising, and endlessly absorbing. A true statement of intent for both the label and the artist.

The A1 title track sets the deep foundation with a tense ambient soundscape trip, before “Bleep Blues” continues with a sci-fi as well as drum heavy workout on the A2. Rounding off the A-side, “Protovision” explores unknown textured realms and highlighted stabs in key
moments. 

On the B-side, “Fog” drives a journey between the dark and the light, with a rhythmic but moving low-end and an effective gritty lead, while the B2 continues with a stretched light pad fighting with a repetitive bleep. “DT229” closes the record, diving into broken rhythms and
more melodic spheres.

Next up joining the KYSH catalogue is Gannein who breaks in with a refined 5-track story that expands our vision of contemporary techno with depth, subtle tension and dancefloor appeal. His original cuts lean into a minimalistic elegance — spacious grooves, precise rhythms, and a sense of controlled pressure that keeps the body moving while the mind sinks deeper.

From the slow-burn intensity and airy low-end drift in the opening „Svaras”, through shimmering percussive details and understated melodic traces woven across the EP, Gannein proves his mastery of restraint, as every element breathes.

Two remixers complete the picture. Sciahri takes „Excursion” into a hypnotic, tightly wound direction, magnifying the pulse and sharpening the edges. Red Rooms, in turn, pushes the atmosphere of „Control Reduction” into tasteful, tribal territory — moody, yet driving.
