SOMA is the solo project of the Nagoya, Japan-based live beat & bass event/label BLUEiCE’s  organizer Tomo.
 After playing in a hardcore/alternative rock band in Nagoya, he started performing Electronica/Postrock music,  performing at fashion shows in Tokyo and rave parties in the Tokai area of Japan. 
 He moved to London when he was 23. With being influenced by UK club music like dubstep, he performed at Club 333 in London, The Cube in Bristol, Europe’s largest movie/comic/media expo London MCM Expo, the Notting hill Carnival, and many other places in UK, France, Belgium, Spain and Greece as a solo artist, in his band Moult, and other projects.
 After moving back to Nagoya, he launched the electronica/dubstep/D’n’B/footwork/dub/HipHop  live event BLUEiCE. 
 In 2013, he participated in the WarDub Japan cup, with his track being streamed the most out of a total 300 tracks.
 His discography ranges from a 2step EP on Boosey Media UK in to EPs on Gorge.in, Vanishing Point Japan, collaboration EP with DJ Aflow, Gnyonpix, Uncle Texx as well as composing soundtracks to mobile games from Europe.
His music features super low bass to shake the ground, beats to move your body, and melodies to touch your heart.
地元名古屋でHardcore/Alternative Rockバンドでギターを担当後、Electronica/IDM, Postrock等から影響を受けて打ち込みを始め、東京でファッション・ショーの音楽や東海のレイブでライブをおこなう。
　UKのバンドやクラブ音楽が好きで渡英。Dubstep等にも衝撃受けながらイギリス人、イタリア人、ジャマイカ人との多国籍バンドMoultやソロ、色々なプロジェクトで、ロンドンのClub 333、ブリストルの映画館The Cube、ヨーロッパ最大のムービー・コミック・メディア・エクスポLondon MCM Expo、Notting hill carnival等を始め、UK各地やフランス、ベルギー、スペイン、ギリシャでのイベントに出演。
　日本帰国後、地元名古屋でElectronica, Dubstep, Footwork, Drum and Bass, Dub, HipHop等BeatとBassなライブ中心のイベント/レーベルBLUEiCEを始める。　
　2013年WARDUB JAPANCUPに参加、期間中予選決勝戦合わせ約300参加トラックのうち最も視聴された。
　リリースは、UKのBoosey Mediaからリリースした2step作品を始めとして、日本のGorgeレーベルGORGE.INやD’n’BレーベルVanishing PointからのEPリリースや、DJ Aflow、Uncle TexxやGnyonpixとのJuke/FootworkスプリットEP、ヨーロッパのゲームのサントラまで多義で多数。
　ライブ毎に機材が変わり、多ジャンルの様々なアーティストとコラボし、Dubstep, Footwork, D’n’B, Electronicaと様々なジャンルをまたぐ音だが、床を揺らす超低域のベースがあり、体を揺らすビートがあり、感情を揺らす音の調べが常にそこにある
