"Nima Kazerouni is a person who never has nothing going on, and in that spirit here’s a new song by Crown Plaza, one of his many varied off-center pop projects. “No Need To Shout” is a teaser for a long-in-coming full-length produced by Scott Barber of the Barber Shop, as well as a gentle take on what happens when you’re feeling like you’re spread too thin, set to a jangle-y New Zealand-y pop song with a Verlaines-y tempo switch in the middle. As Kazerouni explains:

“The song is about the growing pains associated with going beyond and finding your higher self in the midst of work, relationships, and any of life’s daily obstacles. There is a dialogue that is constantly happening between each of us and everything in the universe and we tend to tune it out despite all the signs and lessons that are presented right in front of us to help us grow and learn. I’ve been practicing Transcendental Meditation for over 10 years now and it’s helped get me get attuned to the higher energy frequencies but I find myself getting pulled in and out of the lows and highs all the time. The song references all of this in a light-hearted and jokey way.” - LA RECORD
