The on-form Dear Deer label looks to Rafael Cerato for a brand new single that features Aves Volare and comes with a Sasha Carassi Remix.

Cerato is an artist with a deserving reputation as one of the underground's finest. He shows that again here with Perpetual, a hugely detailed techno tune with scintillating synth work and raw percussion. It's a sizzling peak time track with the sort of energy that locks in the floor and plenty of twists and turns. The Sasha Carassi Remix then strips things back to a more muscular groove with tense synth layers piled up over the top and is sure to make its mark in the club.

This is a superb two-track package on Dear Deer once again.

Another Argentinian banger import comes with number 72 on JEAHMON! Records. A warm welcome to Matias Luciano Guevara alias Gueva who gives his artist debut on our imprint with this 5-tracker release – 3 Originals plus 2 remixes. 

Since we realized "Your Secret is Safe With Me", we trusted Gueva from the very first beat. This stomping offbeat opener with its powerful snare alongside the arp and very impressive industrial effects got us from the very first moment. Making an almost invisible transition to the second track "Baile" - a melodic vocoder killer for the floor – we come along to "Des Apego". A hymn with a big character, a huge impact. 

This earworm also infected label boss Marc DePulse and inspired him to produce two versions of his remix. Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes F-Act to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Switzerland, Bruno Kaufmann aka F-Act has been a beloved talent in the progressive music scene for well over a decade. Often finding a nice balance between progressive house and trance, the Zurich resident has compiled an impressive resume since first emerging in 2009. Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, John OO Fleming's JOOF Recordings and LuPS Records have been key landing spots for Bruno's transcendent sound. Now, following a remix for Balkan Connection's BC2 to end the year, F-Act makes his Movement Recordings debut with a two-track showcase entitled 'Spectral Lines'.

Meanwhile, the equally impressive 'Stark Effect' keeps the peak time energy established by its predecessor. Muscular grooves, crunchy rhythmic structures and emerging atmospheres set the course for astral themes and cosmic arps to provide a bridge into the main break. Looking to bring greater emotional depth, the centerpiece delights with its flickering overlays and prismatic effects, eventually giving way to a rush of drums and ethereal finale.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
