From the serene beauty of Bach’s “Air on a G String” and the haunting “Meditation” by Massenet, to the heartfelt modern classics “Unchained Melody” and “Time to Say Goodbye,” each track tells its own story.

Listeners are carried from the joyful celebration of “Hava Nagila” and “Funiculi Funicula”, through cinematic reflections like “Cavatina” from The Deer Hunter and the poignant “Ashokan Farewell,” to songs of love, hope, and farewell such as “The Rose” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.”

As a guest musician, I was joining Mustafa Said for a small part in his concert at Mucem in Marseille, on October 10th, which was held in the context of the unique exhibition 'L’Orient sonore':

when on the way to Marseille, we got the news. The legend of Persian Music and the irreplaceable icon, MohammadReza Shajarian had left our planet. 

The only thing I had on my mind when doing my solo in the program was him and this short solo was played as a reflection of my sorrow, with respect, love, and gratitude for all that he gave us all for decades.
