When I originally wrote this song, I was really disappointed with myself in some of my decision making. I was distracted by people who only knew how to walk all over me and take advantage of my kindness, so I started talking to God and he gave me these words so that I could face the message he wanted to tell me all along. The message that I had been stubbornly ignoring. It's a song about crying out to God and repentance, as well as a reminder to keep your eyes open, to not fall back into the world...to not lose the sound of his voice.

A tale of unrequited love because if it was anything more, I would lose a valuable friendship, so I'm forced to love them from afar without overstepping the boundaries set in place. Not only that, but the special someone in their heart isn't me as much as I wanted it to. 

Overtime, I realized that I've come to appreciate quite a few qualities of my muse for this song and though this love is one I cannot have, I will wait patiently for the love I deserve...because eventually, it will come to me. 

PS: quality is not the best because there was too much gain in some areas, but I will get this song recorded sometime so you guys can hear it in its final form :)
