I was inspired by all of the remixes on yt lol
I can imagine an entire au where link falls instead of frisk, because humans as monsters knew them have either evolved or died out, leading to Hyruleans, Sheikah, Gorons, Zora and Kokiri living on the surface. By the time link falls, thousands of years had passed since the last human, so the only monsters to bat an eye at the pointed ears are Toriel and Asgore. Because of how long ago the last human fell, the legend of Mount Ebott was forgotten to time. Link only found the underground because he'd been looking for a friend for quite some time; so long that he's saved an odd parallel universe (Termina). Also sidenote but I imagine that the masks he got in Termina work in the underground because they're magic
