HEDO HYDR8 & Muskila presents their new collaborative EP, 'C', boasting three original originals and piping hot remixes from Piezo and Nídia.

Both artists hailing from the Copenhagen scene, uses the opportunity to explore unpretentious and unfltered energies throughout the EP. With ‘C’ they set out to combine Muskila’s world of playful percussion and UK Bass elements with HEDO HYDR8’s sound designed and accelerated rave-euphoria. I made the original version of this one years ago, I think around 2013. At the time I was listening to a lot of Underground Construction, earlier gabber, and other obnoxious, barbarian music. I guess this was an attempt to make some hard house. A demo got passed around to a few friends, some seeming to like it (not sure why, it sucked!). Back then it was all drums, just a little mixing tool. It had the WORST kick ever, like a fucking wet paper towel hitting a cardboard box. The snare rolls came from a really dodgy, low-bitrate 4shared reggaeton sample pack, which I used for most of my early tracks. I added a vocal sample, a much better kick, and a few other sounds, but left it pretty stripped down for its original purpose.
