Trying to get to know you, suddenly had a breakthrough,
No more fake guarantee, twisted reality, 
Flickering sideways glances, we both need those second chances, 
Keeping your eyes on me, wondering what you see. 

Then it seemed everything, but in the grand scheme of things, 
It’s a blink in the eye of the sun. 
Then one night in June, when you’re barking at the moon, 
there’s a shape in the broken glass.
