@sinmaldita is the new alias of Berlin-based producer Tim Roth, who recently released his debut avant-garde pop album You’re Trouble. Previously Tim released his ambient music as 1K Flowers. He is also known for supporting Amnesia Scanner with their ANESTHESIA SCAMMER show and Eliza Douglas with the new performance of Faust at Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

In our current unprecedented age of literal post-club music, for his Borshch mix Tim selected songs that “feel unstable, chaotic, on the verge of falling apart or being torn apart. Some of them feel vulnerable but all still radiate with resoluteness and determination,” which is something that Sin Maldita tries to put forward in his own music.” The final track of the mix — Björk’s Komi∂, the B-Side from her Medulla era that encompasses this feeling of being entangled in a mess, in a limbo but still being resolute really well — feels like a reminder of the powerful chaos that the music and humanity in general found themselves in. And it’s also a reminder that nature and divine creativity will find their way, with or without us.
