With a new year, we bring you a new podcast (#008)
This time by the Mexican duo - @2kuumba  <3

Kuumba is a project by Estefano and Mariel, psychologists who focus their curiosity on the human body, specifically on movement and its effect on self awearness. They explore with rhythms, frequencies, and share their discoveries in movement workshops open to all audiences.

Their sets explore rhythms of African and Latin American roots that are sometimes accompany by live percussion. Kuumba leads you from a high bpm afro house to the lowest tropical bass and cumbia reworks. 

This set was recorded live at an ecstatic dance experience that took place in Mexico City. Tracks were selected wisely for the audience that was fully committed to dance.

CC:DISCO! A mainstay of the Melbourne club scene, CC began connecting with audiences just like the heroes before her – through FM radio. Having presented shows since the age of 15, her weekly slot on local institution PBS FM ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ is now celebrated as the essential start to every Friday night. All of this air time has primed her to knock out guest spots on NTS, Red Light Radio, Worldwide and Dublab.

CC will join us in March (Good Friday) across Saint Lukes and Sub Club for her Sensu debut.
