My little brother David, aka Porkchop, has always been one of the most fearless people I've ever known. Whether snowboarding double black diamonds in Whistler or talking back to our dad growing up, I've always thought he had a death wish. Add to that one of the most social and likable personalities on the planet and you've got yourself a true menace to society.  It was remarkable what he could get away with... So now that music has become the dominant force in our lives, I can't say a lot has changed.  When it comes to DJing, Porky is just as fearless and can pull off some shit that the rest of us wouldn't dream of doing. With an affection for banging techno and a masterful knowledge of reading the crowd, we knew Porkchop had to be our lead off batter for when the sun finally set on Saturday night. In fact, this was my personal favorite set of the weekend and I was beaming ear to ear throughout the whole thing. I couldn't be a  prouder older brother. Somewhere between the kick and the delay — at 00:40 hours, 108 BPM — my DJ-MacBook just froze  (I still play on those devices and I most likely always will - although... I am short before investing in some other gear to play a little bit, to be seen). 

Seven seconds of silence. Total blackout.
The crowd didn’t flinch. 
Someone laughed and shouted, “Ma che Tony!”

Next day I opened the session, found the gap, stitched the groove, dusted it clean.

Now it sounds right — tunes I truly feel.
