Two years ago, I recorded my very first DJ set and uploaded it to SoundCloud - the beginning of this whole journey. This new mix celebrates my two-year anniversary and drifts through a slow, astral soundscape that feels like traveling through time and space. "This is the second part of a live set I recorded in Milan at the beginning of November (the first was released on November 18 by Serafin Audio Imprint with the title “Mystery Train Live”). I started building this live last summer, preparing to play at two festivals, one at 10 in the morning and another at 3 in the night. So I thought the best thing would be to work on a wide range of bpm (from 90 to 122) and build it with moving parts. Since June, the live set has evolved with the addition of other tracks and moments, allowing me to shape it to the situation each time and leaving me plenty of room for improvisation.”

I played from 01:00 - 02:30 at the Zaubergarten floor. 
As I prepared a few edits for this night and found a lot of new tracks, I was really looking forward playing this. Loved the crowd, it was such a nice vibe!
The recording awefully clipped, so I had to record the set at home again.

We all know this moment, you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Late Night Jockel Session" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

For Cuddle Cast #39 we asked @oliverrottmann from our friends at @heimlichaufsc in Austria to show us what he likes to cuddle to. The outcome is fitting for the coldest winter nights and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
