Omerar Nanda (@omerkamil) is a Producer/DJ. In early 2000's he met electronic music and started producing his own tunes by harmonizing with world ethnic music.

Since he takes music as one of the central themes of his life and rooted in the sounds and philosophies of a new technological and social era. He certainly did not skimp on the effort to incorporate traditional ethnic folk rhythms into a contemporary electronic music.

His music ranges through all tempos always conjunct in the purpose to shake your soul and excite your mind. In his tracks he mostly uses his own vocal and ethnic world instruments. He loves creating deep melodies from piano, guitar, koto, oud, flutes combination with a deeper form of electronic music.

A reunion that was long overdue took place July 21st, 2019 in Downtown LA at Moontribe Sunday Vibe. It was such a sweet event bringing together the DJs from the first wave of Moontribe events in the 90s and many old school friends and family! It was one for the record books for sure! 

My set was early on coming out of pure beat less ambient music and building up to a more tech/house tempo. My goal here was a welcoming set as people were just arriving and socially connecting. I started off very slow and tribal, with a little push on the tempo each track so it didn't take too long to get groovy, but also I never wanted the set to be too heated. It was a challenging set, but I feel very satisfied with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it too!!!
