About the EP-*
Mahakali (Sanskrit: Mahākālī, Devanagari: महाकाली), is the much revered Hindu mother goddess of time, death and doomsday. 
She is the divine Goddess of the Universe in her most fearful and powerful form. She is also the consort of Mahakala, the god of consciousness, the basis of reality and existence. Mahakali in Sanskrit is etymologically the feminized variant of Mahakala or Great Time (which is interpreted also as Death), an epithet of the god Shiva in Hinduism. Kali and all her forms are the different manifestations of Mahakali.   
Mahakali's origin is contained in various Puranic and Tantric Hindu Scriptures (Shastra). In these She is variously portrayed as the Adi-Shakti-Goddess Durga, the Primeval Force of the Universe, identical with the Ultimate Reality or Brahman. She is also known as the (female) Prakriti or World as opposed to the (male) Purusha or Consciousness, or as one of three manifestations of Mahadevi Durga (The Great Goddess) that represent the three Gunas or attributes in Samkhya philosophy. In this interpretation Mahakali represents Tamas or the force of inertia. 
She is described as an abstract energy, the yoganidra of Vishnu. Brahma invokes Her and She emerges from Vishnu and He awakenes. 
She is the Goddess of time.

Drifting - a movement with no certain direction… As a drifter you may move with ease and a calm mind, or you may find yourself on a mystical journey into the unknown, you’re never quite sure... These feelings of uncertainty have inspired our dear friend Kyle, aka @captures, when he began working on this EP three years ago. At that time his journeys had drawn him to Berlin where he found himself searching for a community to resonate with. With a bit of drifters fortune, we found each other here and there as the events and parties around Voodoohop and UCR brought him a sense of home: „Everyone seemed like wild characters in a play on some type of exotic underground that created a narrative free from boundaries. I loved the psychedelic atmosphere those days combined with electronic and world music sounds. Those experiences contributed a lot to this album and to who I am today.“

We’re pleased that our communities have provided inspiration that has led us to work with Captures on releasing this beautiful soundtrack. A soundtrack for all the drifters out there.

May this EP be seen as a dedication to not only the weightless feeling of floating but also to carry confidence and optimism on our paths to explore the great unknown. As Confucius said, „The journey is the destination“.

Rudrākṣa is a seed traditionally used as a prayer bead in Hinduism (especially Shaivism). They are associated with the Hindu deity Lord Shiva and are commonly worn for protection and for chanting the Om Namah Shivaya mantra by devotees.

Rudraksha beads may be strung together as a mala and used to count the repetition of a mantra or prayer, similar to the use of rosaries in Christianity. Most garlands contain 108 beads plus one, as 108 is considered sacred and a suitable number of times to recite a short mantra. 
The extra bead, called the "Meru", bindu, or "guru bead", helps mark the beginning and end of a cycle of 108, as well as having symbolic value as a 'principle' bead. 
Rudraksha malas usually contain beads in the following combination: 27+1, 54+1, or 108+1. 54+1 needs to be recited twice for one complete round. 27+1 needs to be recited four times for one complete round. It is possible to carry a single seed or several seeds strung on the same thread.

This debut on vinyl presents new sounds from their native Kenya. We’ve listened to the tracks a lot, and concluded that Contemplative House is a good descriptor. Expect beautifully crafted beats, hazy synths, and inch-perfect bass, constructed for the intimate dancefloor.

Apo-dhātu or āpa-dhātu should be the combined nature of fluidity or viscosity, solubility and perhaps a few other similar features of any fundamental piece of mass.
