Home of acclaimed artists such as Damon Jee, Theus Mago (SXDNS056), Colossio (SXDNS025), Zombies In Miami, Duncan Gray (SXDNS075/TAKEOVER002), Alex Aguayo (TAKEOVER001), Marching Machines (SXDNS276), just to name a few, the Spanish powerhouse Espacio Cielo is also the place to be for young new talents and seasoned producers who decide to venture through the Indie Dance/Dark Disco jungle – the latter is the case of Bias & Jose Diaz, two veterans of the Levantine scene who decided to join forces to recreate the sounds of the late '80s and early '90s on this spot-on EP: “A Life Story” comes with two upright originals and two vital remixes made with love by MAN2.0 (SXDNS081) and Parissior (SXDNS206), the label boss himself.

Brought to life in two alluring versions, Italo and Valencia Mix, the title track is definitely worth the effort of having a double staging. The one we chose to premiere keeps the upbeat aura of its counterpart but develops itself in a more emotive and melodic way. It is as if Bias & Jose Diaz were trying to infuse a little of their love for their hometown into their work – mission successfully accomplished.

Affekt Unit is the new collaboration between Philoxenia Records founders Luigi Di Venere and Neu Verboten.
Under this moniker they blend their musical obsessions, rooted in Italo house, Frankfurt EBM-house and trance.

We’re delighted to host this exciting and electrifying hybrid sound on their debut EP ‘Dust Off’ !

Diving deep into the excellent EBM sous acid vs downtempo trance trip offered by ‘The Struggle’ and ‘Dust Off’, it’s clear that both are in total control of their subject.

And it goes on with the more speedy-techno meets celestial trance ‘My Spirit’, a nod to Transcultural Shamanism "which is the true core of what raves, festivals and clubs are : moments of detachment from reality as well as places of sharing across cultures", as Luigi explains.

'Loon In Moon' is the super trippy and catchy tune of the EP, where once again Luigi's voice can be heard, whispering’ My Thumb instead of an onion’, words taken from a poem by the late American poet & novelist Sylvia Plath.

Throughout the whole experience offered by Affekt Unit, we dig into their common influences, and take pleasure in finding lots of clever ideas & elements added into the mix. The true force of these 4 tracks is that they never derail from the main goal, keeping an infectious groove going on and on and on.

Ludmila Fuks is an argentinean music producer, live performer & DJ. 
She began her musical career as a producer in 2020, with track releases on the emerging Mexican label Kyma Komplex, the Argentinean label Logia, and two EP's coming this year. 
She recently began to explore the DJ format, with which she has already performed in Chile, sharing the stage with Nicolaas Jaar in the showcase of his label Other People -in which a track is going to be released this year in a VA- "Ladridos" festival. 

Her sound is characterized by the use of percussion and acid sounds, creating dark, hypnotic and earthy atmospheres, passing through different genres such as acid, indie dance, ebm and dark disco and being able to adapt to different intensities to generate an ecstatic experience. 

Trained as a political scientist with a PhD in Philosophy, she combines both fields to propose a common ground between dance and thought.
