Kurt Kjergaard is a German DJ and producer whose career took off in the 1990s. He's known for his versatility across multiple electronic music genres, including techno, progressive, house, nu-disco, and italo to name a few.

Well known over the years too for releasking tracks on labels such as Emerald & Doreen Records, Club Mackan, or Discoteca Exotica.

Beyond production, Kjergaard is the creator of the "Indie Dance Mix Series" on SoundCloud, where he curates and shares mixes of like-minded artists.

He also leads "Outside The Box" and "Indie Dance Selected & Mixed," both of which have gained international attention, solidifying his presence in the global electronic music community.

Excited to welcome a standout figure of the scene to our mix series.

Laurent Schmitz, aka Pianopoli, is a Belgian DJ and producer whose musical soul is steeped in the influences of Italo disco, the frenetic house of the 90s and the hard-hitting electro of the 2000s.

From an early age, he was drawn to electronic music, which became a real passion. In the early 2000s, at the height of the electroclash period, he started DJing at parties in the Liège area and began producing music.

Today, through his Pianopoli project, as a DJ and producer, he creates unique soundscapes in which driving rhythms and effervescent synths blend retro sounds with the modernity of contemporary indie dance.

His music is an invitation to discover, dance and explore retro-futuristic harmonies.
