ODD Pleasures se conjura en una carta de presentación sin igual orquestando su primer lanzamiento a bombo y platillo con un elenco de artistas de primer nivel.

 Los dogmas utilizados para esta junta cósmica son el amor por los ritmos a baja revolución, tintes Kraut o un sentimiento común por la música electrónica con influencias  post punk y new wave. 

Preparaos con este sello porque viene con el acelerador a fondo para los siguientes lanzamientos.

The various artists compilation features artists like Alpha Sect, Arrosa, Attendances, CSK, Disco Morato, Disco Mortale, Facets, Gegen Mann, Ian Lapa, Itako, Ivan de la Rouch & Mike Sacchetti, K-Effect, Ruksby, Tulioxi and Ubre Blanca. 
In Greek mythology, Tartarus (Ancient Greek: Τάρταρος) is the deep abyss that is used as a dungeon of torment and suffering for the wicked.

We present the second volume of remixes: Patitos, where to test the album, 14 members pose 15 remixes of the original Patitos, which is a turning point in the corpus of the LP, and they do it by expanding their sound to its limits. Artists such as Alejandro Paz, Diaztech, Double Meaning, Fausto, Gerver, Hino, Lil Zoid, Mijo, Mverto Futura, Nico Raibak, Monefield, Shubostar, Spettro, who have contributed a strong influence to the label and vice versa, now deploy their artillery In the best way they know. A demonstration of elegance and common work around a track that marks a deep mark in the entire album, but also, of the trajectory of Ali X x Ximena. The intriguing tale of French duo Kimshies continues... Their sole release from 2004 re-upped into the ether by Solomun in 2018, it triggered a return to the studio after almost 15 years. Making up for lost time, they’ve already dropped two exceptional EP's on Nein. Now comes their Duro debut... And it’s a perfect dark disco match.

Even the title says as much ‘Fucked Up Mama’: a scuzzy, frazzled jam rich in oiled distortion and lighting strike synths and a rising case of venomous acid mid-way, there’s a grit in the groove that’s going to take more than a few lockdown handwashes to feel clean from. It’s coupled by a series of equally forthright remixes: fresh from completing his debut album for Life & Death, Disco Halal alumni Autarkic strips your mama down to her kickdrum undies and redresses her in a dynamic laser laced charmer.

He’s in good company... Nein brethren Cabaret Nocturne makes a welcome appearance with a creeping dark electro twist while La Dame Noir’s Arthur Johnson gets busy with two perspectives; one where the swing and organs provide funky refreshment and a bonus one which takes us right back into the gritty analog mama-fucking attitude of the original. Relish Compilation VII features tracks and remixes by AHEADACHEADAY, ELIEZER w/ Zillas on Acid and Dangur, M Love, Headman, Mufti feat. Vongold, Franz & Shape and Modular Project.

The Compilation starts off with Alberto de Angeli aka AHEADACHEADAY. A dark slow motion synth laden track with Burundi beat undertones. 
Tel Aviv’s Eliezer collaborated w/ Zillas on Acid on Anna Bella. The vocals are by Isadora. The song is trippy, hypnotic and percussive.
M Love’s Price is his 3rd release on Relish. New World was featured on REPIX. New Wave and Krautrock infused techno for the momentarily absent dancefloors.This time a bit harder and less melodic. Devoleb is a new Headman track. The original idea was to rework an old track, but while working on it something new came out. The track is an example of Post Punk Disco, 808 drummachines and Basslines that reminds one of Motorik retro futurist funk. Crimson is by Eliezer and Dangur with again vocals from Isadora. This version is a bit more uptempo, again with a tribal nearly ethnic feel with guitars and percussion that slide in and out dubbing everything. Mufti feat Vongold contributed already on REPXI. False Guru has a similar  Mexican underground vibe, dark arpeggio synths, driving drums and  mystic vocals by Vongold.
Headman’s Be Loved original version was released in 2011. First remixed by Daniel Avery on the homonymous single. Modular Project remixed the version again and turned it into a high energy dark Giorgio Moroder-esque interpretation keeping loads of sounds and the poppy vocals from the original. Franz & Shape who have been part of Relish since the early days contributed N.u.m.b.. The vocals are by Matt Southall from the UK band Officers. The remix is by Croatian electronica producer Petar Dundov. He added vocoders and gave a nice retro-italo feel to the original version.
