Latido records has its origin in the famous Mordisco Club parties (Granada, South of Spain) hosted by the dj duo and producers Mordisco (Atomnation, My Favorite Robots Records, Duro, Bedrocks, etc.). Artists such as John Talabot, Curses, Sascha Funke, Zombies in Miami, Red Axes or Jennifer Cardini among others have played at these parties. The Latido label is born from the characteristic sounds and influences of Mordisco Club.
The fourth volume of Latido is a journey through diverse ingredients and influences which range from techno or EBM to New Wave and the dark side of disco.
Lucare and Poulper's opening track, built around a disco-influenced bassline, with dark synth pads and electric guitar chords, gives way to Ivan de la Rouch, offering a broken rhythm with a powerful arpeggio and an electro flavor. Fugitiv is firmly committed to the post-punk and darkwave vibes of the 80s with aggressive and dramatic synts, before Álvaro Cabana closes the EP with force and momentum, giving a perfect artifact for lovers of arpeggiated sequences and expressive atmospheric melodies.

Trampoliner (@trampolinersthlm) are proud to present the french power duo Kimshies (@kimshies). Peo Watson and Bijou Williams have known each other for more than 20 years now. In 2004, they produced "Chicago 72" together, releasing it on vinyl only. 500 copies went through different record stores and were being passed around until May 2018 when the public discovered it during Solomun's ‘Cercle' session in the magnificent Théâtre Antique d'Orange. The exposure & irony of the history pushed Peo & Bijou to return to the studio once more, and by the looks of it, they are here to stay. Having already had releases on renowned labels such as Nein, Aeon and Duro to name a few.

On TRAMPA009 they pick up where they last left off, with two proper Kimshies-style tracks to please any dancefloor. Teaming up with their countrymen and respected duo You Man for the title- and first track, turning it into a proper dancefloor blockbuster. The second track is no exception, letting their unique grunge-vibe shine through once again, leaving the listener longing for more. To complete this release, we have no other than Vilnius finest Roe Deers and Mexican sensation Mufti (@muftimx) on remix duties.

El sello madrileño Rotten City vuelve a primera línea con un nuevo lanzamiento. El 6 de diciembre es la fecha elegida para la publicación de una colección de remixes de su excepcional recopilatorio "Rotten Citizens Vol.3". El citado álbum apareció en junio de 2018 con diez incontestables temas inéditos de otros tantos artistas. Todo un elenco con lo más representativo de la escena slow/dark disco, donde se citaban gente como Roe Deers, Thomass Jackson, o Dionigi. 

Centrándonos en lo que nos ocupa, nos complace compartir con vosotros el estreno de uno de los mejores cortes contenidos en el trabajo. Se trata del que se ocupa de inaugurar el tracklist, “Hunting” del lituano Roe Deers, reconstruido por los  incombustibles The Two Mamarrachos. Los donostiarras se lucen y plantan cara al original, convirtiéndolo en un pelotazo para la pista. En sus manos el tema pasa a tener una identidad oscura, bien secundada por un ritmo metálico y arreglos corrosivos marca de la casa.

PREMIERE: Roe Deers - Hunting (Two Mamarrachos Remix) [Rotten City Records] (2019)

We present the second volume of remixes: Patitos, where to test the album, 14 members pose 15 remixes of the original Patitos, which is a turning point in the corpus of the LP, and they do it by expanding their sound to its limits. Artists such as Alejandro Paz, Diaztech, Double Meaning, Fausto, Gerver, Hino, Lil Zoid, Mijo, Mverto Futura, Nico Raibak, Monefield, Shubostar, Spettro, who have contributed a strong influence to the label and vice versa, now deploy their artillery In the best way they know. A demonstration of elegance and common work around a track that marks a deep mark in the entire album, but also, of the trajectory of Ali X x Ximena. Here you can listen to vol. 1 and get, through the slopes, a unique and suggestive trip, full of nuances and chills, that few producers with decisive ease are willing to make. Enjoy it!

Mufti is Bernardo Barrera, one half of Los Fugazzi, producer and dj from Guadalajara, México. He already contribute w/ The Night on RELISH 100.
Andrew Weatherall supported the track on his legendary nts radio show.
He’s latest release was on Ombra Int’.
This track has been a work in progress for Mufti: Guitars, strong bass line and a catchy arp to glue things together are the ingredients. The Track features vocals by Vongold  adding the hook!

The intriguing tale of French duo Kimshies continues... Their sole release from 2004 re-upped into the ether by Solomun in 2018, it triggered a return to the studio after almost 15 years. Making up for lost time, they’ve already dropped two exceptional EP's on Nein. Now comes their Duro debut... And it’s a perfect dark disco match.

Even the title says as much ‘Fucked Up Mama’: a scuzzy, frazzled jam rich in oiled distortion and lighting strike synths and a rising case of venomous acid mid-way, there’s a grit in the groove that’s going to take more than a few lockdown handwashes to feel clean from. It’s coupled by a series of equally forthright remixes: fresh from completing his debut album for Life & Death, Disco Halal alumni Autarkic strips your mama down to her kickdrum undies and redresses her in a dynamic laser laced charmer.

He’s in good company... Nein brethren Cabaret Nocturne makes a welcome appearance with a creeping dark electro twist while La Dame Noir’s Arthur Johnson gets busy with two perspectives; one where the swing and organs provide funky refreshment and a bonus one which takes us right back into the gritty analog mama-fucking attitude of the original. Exceptional. The intriguing tale continues...

Last spotted on the inaugural ‘Muy Duro’ volume, Russian duo Wolfstream jump aboard Theus Mago’s unstoppable Duro vehicle with their first full EP for the labe. And they’re taking full navigational controls.
‘Khoomei’ sets the parameters. A widescreen slab of lolloping percussive dark disco characterised by the unique Mongolian throat singing it takes its name from, there’s a state of transcendence as we lock tighter and tighter to the loose-flowing groove.
The same can be said for ‘From Z To Ulu’. Once again bringing human voices to the rhythmic table, there’s a palpable soul coded deep into late night synthetic groove. Best compared to Black Strobe at their peak, there’s a deep 3am mischief that’s amplified consummately by Hanzo & Yaman on their remix.
Complete with a synth bass slapping remix of ‘Khoomei’ from the Duro boss Theus himself, we conclude with ‘Avacha Bay Hunters’. A tempestuous rolling slice of percussive hypnotica, the explorative theme persists right through to the very finale. Taking its name and spirit from the furthest Russian outpost, right on the nose of the Pacific ocean, once again Wolfstream take us to places we’ve never knew existed in more ways than one. Buen viaje.

Exclusive: Heidenreich feat. ANGST vor GRETA - Je Palpite (Chinaski Remix)

Berlin-East Frisian Heindenreich, also known as one half of Leggings, a slow Indie-Dance formation with his partner in crime DJ Cremant, challenges Francophile vocalist ANGST vor GRETA for his Je Palpite EP on Dutch label Sinchi Collective. Beside the original version of Je Palpite, the track comes with remixes from Calypso head honcho Thomas Jackson and Robert Johnson mainstay Chinaski, who finally delivers new material after his collaboration with Curses on Dischi Autunno earlier this year. As expected and as fresh as a tropical fruit Chinaski squeezes the Disco-ish note out of Heidenreich's original and exchanges it with more progressive and heavily hitting electroid essences that turn his version of Je Palpite to a kiwano, an exotic warm composition with an edgy and raw musical backbone.
