Welcome to "Noche" , the new release from Modula! Produced by Viktoria Jauregui, DJ and founding member of Modula, it presents four tracks of pure indie dance. Its dark and fun sound captivates the dance floor.

Vik Jauregui, DJ and producer brings us two moments from the party. "4 AM", pure dark disco with melodic touches, full of deep bass, furious drums, ritualistic synthesizers and voices from other worlds that trap and distort time and space. There is a surprising chopping of voices - typical of Vik productions - that contribute to the nocturnal confusion of dark sunglassed early mornings. A hinge track that helps mark the path of sound hypnosis.

It’s been approximately one year since our first retro futuristic compilation was released, and as we’ve moved further into the future, it appears we’ve come closer to the 90s, if not even ventured a tiny bit into the 00s. We might even be in the present, if not even the future. Somehow, with one foot still in the 80s.
As our universes collide, it’s hard to tell what is what. Whether you think this is a futuristic take on Eurodance with an 80s twist, Italo Body or Trance, that is totally up to you. You might even throw in a few other musical universes too. Is it EBM, Dark Disco or Indie Dance? We don’t know and we don’t judge you for deciding. Enjoy!

Ben Men and Rob Malone are Raw Analog Funk and they head up this label as well as being known as multifaceted artists, DJs, record dealers, producers and party promoters. They have been active and shaping the scene since the 90s and produced the legendary BTRAX parties at Rex Club, which also later became a seminal label, and have been behind some key record stores, including Statik and Basement Trax Records, over the years. This new EP is "dedicated to the Cidade Maravilhosa". Then comes a remix from Carioca, self-taught multi-instrumentalist Pinaud. He is a well-established musician and DJ in Rio de Janeiro with credits on labels like Manga Rosa and Barco do Amor. His track is a steamy one with erotic vocal coos and a big breakdown, synths that tease and please, and rising energy that will get hands in the air.

His style could be compared like night and day, on the one hand, dynamism and depth and on the other, elegance and freshness.
