El productor de Los Ángeles, TMFD, regresa en agosto con más cortes de house infusionados con soul a través de su nuevo EP de dos pistas titulado "Hurdles". Themba Daniels, conocido artísticamente como TMFD, comenzó su carrera musical en Johannesburgo, Sudáfrica, antes de mudarse a Los Ángeles. Desde entonces, ha llevado su distintiva interpretación del deep house contemporáneo a escenarios de Londres, Berlín y Ciudad de México, combinando las raíces del afro house con influencias sónicas de su tierra natal.

El track que estrenamos hoy es "I Had To Tie My Shoelaces", que abre el lanzamiento con una mezcla de sintetizadores flotantes, vocales susurrantes, notas de bajo cortadas y baterías con ritmo, todo entrelazado con cuerdas atmosféricas que crean tensión y efectos esporádicos que sutilmente mantienen el groove durante todo el track.
