Spanish producer Accelerated Corrosion, the alias of David Hernández, is set to release a new EP that delivers a powerful fusion of industrial, techno, and EBM sounds. This release embodies his extensive career and dedication to crafting dense, atmospheric, and relentless rhythms—rooted in his early experience as a 90s DJ.

The EP features original tracks such as "Dark Essence," "Time to Go," "Superdark," and "Nuclear Test." It also boasts an impressive lineup of remixes by renowned artists, each adding their distinct sonic identity:

• Israel Padilla, the founder of Banshees Records, brings his decades of experience and influences ranging from early 80s EBM to New Beat and Dark Disco. His remix of "Time to Go" maintains a raw, dark intensity that stays true to his signature style.

• Serge Geyzel, a Berlin-based artist with a classical and jazz background, creates a fusion of melancholic IDM and heavy electro with his remix of "Dark Essence." Known for using analog synths and field recordings, his work is characterized by raw basslines and a sense of frenetic tension.

• Christian Kroupa, also known as Alleged Witches, is a Slovenian producer exploring electro, wave, and industrial sounds. His remix brings a ritualistic, tribal energy that echoes his extensive work with labels like R&S Records and Dimensions Recordings.

• Extase Urbaine, emerging from Amsterdam’s underground scene, adds a forward-thinking blend of techno, electro, and trance in his remix. Known for promoting inclusivity through his body-centric club music, his remix deepens the EP's eclectic and experimental edge.

With this EP, Accelerated Corrosion affirms his role as a leading figure in dark electronic music, delivering a complex sound that bridges past influences and future innovation.

Two new faces on the label with the two-faced eagle! Both artists have been much respected forces on the international club circuit for a while. IDA ENGBERG is best known for her affiliation with Stockholm’s Drumcode and Truesoul labels. For her Speicher debut though, she’s tapping into a quite different sound territory. “Nothing Feels The Same” will go down in history as the first 2 Step track ever released on KOMPAKT EXTRA. It’s as sensual as it’s booming. Definitely one for those late morning hours. With “Pink Monkeys” is an EBM/sawtooth trance amalgamation of the highest order with enough psychedelic headroom for the festival season.

MARCO RESMANN’s deep involvement with the late Berlin club legend Watergate has made him one of the German capital’s beacons of house and techno. He’s one half of Lunar City Express and former member of Pan-Pot which speaks volumes about his stylistical versatility.”“RIMA feat. Laatz” he delivers a frenetic rollercoaster ride of a techno track. It’s radical, it’s menacing and super fun all at once – A truly one of a kind techno track. “Dimensions” is a low-slung electro bulwark full of intricate details to keep head and feet going in unison.

“N.B.I.C.” – Nanotechnologies – Biotechnologies – Information Technologies – Cognitive Sciences – after their inaugural release “Endless Sunday” in 2022 via Thisbe, Nomenklatür are back on the label with a bang. Indeed, N.B.I.C. gathers 3 original tracks that perfectly blend the minimalist electro and dark techno genres that characterized the sound of the French duo from Paris. The EP, which also features the singles “Anywhere Out of The World” and “Feier der Gestirne”, depicts a chilling world, where human kind is heading to a permanent connection to the grid, without any interruption. Ever. There is no coming-back from it, no more control on anything…Will we be reaching that stage in the near future?
If you listen closely to the music and are mindful of the feelings and emotions conveyed by it, it might indeed be a plausible scenario. Food for thought, music for thought. The immersion into Nomenklatür´s latest production is real.  
 
The EP is completed by a remix by Bonkers Music´s head Ludviq. The Barcelona-based artist brings in his singular sound by reworking the single “Anywhere Out of The World”, transporting the listener into a more psychedelic and New Beat universe, to the greatest delight of the aficionados of Ludviq´s trademark sound.
