LTR Premiere : Pedro Capelossi - Nameless Faceless (Original Mix) [REFRACTION]

Karl Draum, hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, grew up amidst the vibrancy and creative chaos of the 90s. His inspiration is rooted in Swedish melodic heritage with additional influences from EBM, italo, trance, and 90s Eurodance.
Karl's debut track, "Control Me”, was released on the respected label Club Mackan and has been played in mixes released by the likes Khidi, Minitel and Something Spæcial. His style is an eclectic fusion, and his DJ sets are characterized by high energy and infectious melodies, marrying the darker, more intense side of electronic music with the euphoric melodies of Italo Body Music and trance, creating a powerful and emotive musical experience.

A former prominent member of Carbone 14, Seedreak, now at the helm of Magic Vision, is not just a DJ. He also serves as an Artistic Director and event organizer.

A passionate artist, Seedreak has dedicated over 15 years and more than 300 performances to the art of mixing, taking on the challenge of exploring and fusing different sounds. His determination has led him to perform on a multitude of stages, from the most modest to the most prestigious.

Seedreak performed at the SEA YOU Festival, among other great venues, sharing the stage with artists such as BIESMANS, CHINASKI, KARASSIMEON, Lexy & K-Paul, Moguai, Botnek ...

His journey has opened doors to many clubs, from Malta to Saarbrucken (DE), via Heidelberg (DE), Trier (DE), Paris (FR), Strasbourg (FR), Lyon (FR), and Nancy (FR). He was notably one of the residents at the Rafiot Club in Strasbourg and the Kitu Club in Saarbrucken, to name a few.

A new chapter is opening, and Seedreak aspires to further expand his musical horizons and captivate audiences with his inspired creations, deeply reflecting on his personal journey. Expect to be swept away on a sonic journey filled with emotions and surprises.

SEEDREAK: SPÆCIAL MIX 366

Resistor is Shunt Voltage’s debut release on Paisley Dark Records although they have appeared on the three Shelter Me complilation albums which raise funds for homelessness. This release comes hot on the heels of major support from Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy, who included their track Generator on her latest Balearic Breakfast album, Volume 3. She has also been giving heavy play to the bands limited vinyl release, To What Degree/Cowboys, which includes an A Space Age Freak Out remix of To What Degree.
Along with the original, the EP boasts a trio of remixes from Leeds based producers, Cosmikuro who is by now a regular contributer to the label, Paisley Darks very own A Space Age Freak Out, aka label boss John Paynter & Ben lewis and rising stars Adult DVD. Finally, the fourth remix comes courtesty of Swedish producer Mindbender (When Disco Goes Wrong) .
In the words of the band, Resistor came about by trying out some newly programmed synth sounds and FX and mixing with some sequencer riffs. This sound clash eventually filled out to a rough demo which the band tinkered around with eventually adding in a few vocal lines. The title continues their electrical theme and has a neat double edge to it.

Tenderheart is Oleg Tovkach, an introvert and creative Ukrainian producer whose passion in making music sparkled at a tender age, inspired by the “sound of rain drumming on the window” of his room, for instance. Bells tolling, leaves rolling, the wind blowing... everything could be the source of inspiration, and he ended up putting the family’s microphone to good use by registering his surroundings and mixing the result using two tape recorders. 
Oleg has clearly evolved and developed more sophisticated production techniques as you can verify by browsing his extensive discography released mainly on his very own label Tenderheart Music with spot-on appearances on Amselcom, Inner Symphony, and Plastic City FX.
His forthcoming endeavour, as many of his themes, was “born in the depths of his soul”, filled with emotions and feelings translated into synths and chords devoted to triggering reflection, introspectiveness, daydreaming... soul-searching experiences enhanced by a perfect background soundtrack. Sometimes, the best dance floor you can be on is your own mind.

High praise indeed from an artist who knows all about making an impact. It was Dimitri's remix of Avery's 'Water Jump' that announced his talent to the world. Produced without the original parts, Veimar constructed a rework that immediately won the heart of its original creator.

I was really enjoying making the / sunday morning / because finally i had a chance to mix up all kind of music that i can't play on the dancefloor. Since my childhood i've been listening to a lot of breakbeat and downtempo and also i mad about US classical and hippie singers especially about all the music comes from the 60 's.  That's why the mix has the few gems from those times as a reminder of a golden days.
