Music has the power to heal and ease our minds during times of trouble and it is in that spirit that we welcome Colossio to the Play Pal Series, an artist we've been following for quite some time and whose sound fits perfect with what we like and release.

He's played at the main clubs in Mexico, regular guest at Topaz Club in Monterrey and have done recently his first tour through Europe. Although he's into a wide range of music, his sound, even at lower bpm than on his usual sets, is definitively club oriented with a driving energy that keeps pushing.

With music out on labels such as Ombra International, Calypso, La Dame Noir, Relish or Duro among many others, and new Ep's coming up on Beat Is Murder and Á Table, he's become one of the most prolific artists of last years and definitively one to watch.

Happy to have Phred Noir on the Play Pal Series with a very personal two hour mix he's recorded for the occasion.

He's been behind one of the finest labels we know, La Dame Noir Records, for the last 10 years, being co-founder of it alongside Relatif Yann, and also of La Dame Noir Bar & Club.

They've counted with many great artists through out these years, both on the label and at the club, where he's had the opportunity of sharing decks with Maceo Plex, Pachanga Boys, Chloé, Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagghe or Michael Mayer just to name a few.

He's been playing for more than two decades and as he defines it himself, from Balearic Disco to Slow Techno via Dark Disco, from the seaside to the latest dance floor, between 100 & 120 bpm, being 110 where he enjoys the most.

As a producer, he's teamed up with Amevicious under the alias 'La Dame Noir' releasing music on Meant, Factor City or Blindetonation and also with Remain from Meant Rec. under the aka 'Slow Porn' with releases on My Favourite Robot and La Dame Noir.

Max Ferrer aka Ducati Flux is a Chilean music producer and DJ based in Berlin, half of the duo Random Atlas (Esthétique, Feinstoff, SXDNS and soon on HEARec). From an early age, he has searched in music and sound design for a collision between Rock and electronic music, playing in several bands, producing for different projects and soundtracks for movies. He is currently working on his own music with influences from Post Punk, Disco, Downtempo and Techno which will be released on labels such as Hard Fist and Belly Dance Services, just to name a few.

Roe Deers is a Lithuanian-based producer aka Liudas Lazauskas. Liudas started listening to electronic music when I was 10 year old. Being 11 year old, he got a turntable and a mixer, he started collecting vinyls and practiced my mixing technique at my parents nightclub. Eventually, he started playing at club venues in Lithuania, few years after - across the Europe. Then he began my music story and let the music do the talking. He have enthralled the nights of endless audiences in the many clubs in Europe by delivering well blended electronic music.

Having spent more than 15 years behind the turntables performing at clubs and produced electronic music, Liudas became significantly well equipped with rich musical knowledge across many genres of electronic music. While most of the electronic music follows a clear and often monotonic pattern, you never know what you will get from Roe Deers. The way how he would describe my sound would be “From old-school style up to disco and from soulful to deep new wave - combination of disco, rock & house”. It really does vary.

Roe Deers employ all shades of love in his shows so that the only response you can give him is dance.

We are delighted to launch this series in India in collaboration with SUBMERGE - India’s leading dance music collective founded by Nikhil Chinappa. We at SINCHI got the opportunity to have a conversation on the status of the music scene, culture, gender roles, and various challenges it faces along with India’s unique ability to transform the challenges into opportunities with both Nikhil & collective member Manny, who also curated 3 artists who have put together sets, showcasing a distinctly Indian underground sound that represents the scene in its authentic form. Our 2nd mix from this series is from TOTOROTO (@SKIPSTERMUSIC), the alter ego of DJ SKIP who brings a multidimensional approach to Djing and turntablism. This is what curator Manny has to say about him: He is easily India’s most influential turntablist and one of the most versatile DJs in the country. He is an IDA world No.3, Redbull 3style world finalist, Multiple time DMC India winner besides having numerous other championships under his belt, and the first turntablist in the country to be on an Emmy award-nominated reality show. I invited Skip to stitch 60 mins of different styles of music as only he can sampling Indian instruments, music, and films into his eclectic set.

Who is he?: TOTOROTO is a brainchild of @Skipstermusic also known as DJ SKIP. With this new moniker, DJ skip presents the experimental more independent style of music by combining electronic sounds from analog machines and sampling organic foley sounds as well as old Indian cinema. 

His recent work “Change Hobe Pro Scene from his latest EP  East Ended Play got great response also it was the first-ever Bangla (Regional Language) Track to feature on VH1 India. 

In the field of music for more than 16 years he has managed to gain a reputation of being one of the most technical and versatile DJ in the industry.  With 5 national championship titles under his belt he has also claimed the title for NO.3 DJ in the world in the IDA world DJ championship held in Poland. His debut album Bass & Tings (2016) was highly appreciated by the DJ industry and the tracks had been used by major fashion labels for their collection as well.
