Formed in 2019 Citizens Of Vice is a sub label of the tougher big brother label “Night Noise Music”. Starting life in Amsterdam and now based in their Jura Mountain Hideout in France. The label is a European label with it’s feet firmly planted on the Disco Floor.

The last 18 months have seen @clivefromaccounts quickly establish himself one of the most exciting and innovative house producers on the scene today. With an identity shrouded in mystery he has released a series of absolutely dynamite EP's for Outplay, Dirt Crew, Income Tax and Razor-N-Tape. 

Clive's @RazorNTape EP 'Strictly Business' landed a couple of weeks ago to huge critical reception and lots of DJ love. It's a sublime EP, four tracks which see him take his own unique house style and finesse that to fit perfectly with Razor-N-Tape's NY heritage. It's a very classy affair indeed. We hosted the premier of lead track Tell Me and we also spoke to Clive to try and shed a kink of light on his background which is well worth checking out.

We have been so blown away by Clive's output that we asked him to put together a mixtape for our Selectors series and he didn't disappoint delivering one of the best mixes of the series so far for us. This week we welcome Berlin based Aussie, Eluize into the mix. Playing alongside her last year at Hallo Montag we were taken in by the beauty and subtlety of her track selection, and at that point knew we needed to get her involved. 

Her debut LP on Craigie Knowes is a beautiful 7 track journey through voice and sound. A unique blend of Eluize's voice, drum machines and synthesis have built an album that flows between dancefloor hypnotics and melodies that throw you out to drift in a lonely cosmic ocean, and a lot of that expression is captured here in her mix.

Little Boots and Joyce Muniz’s collaboration single, ‘Strange Girl’ tells the familiar tale of an illicit tryst; a trope within House music that connects and inspires many of its protagonists. 

In its original form, Joyce Muniz constructs a deeply emotive warm groove which perfectly align with the honeyed vocals from Little Boots. In this second remix pack we welcome 4 new reworks of the original.

First up, Desert Hearts regular RYBO turns the low swung house rhythm into a pulsating techno beat, perfectly mixing the raw attitude with a sexy groove. One for the credible deep house heads, Iron Curtis brings dreamy lush pads, with a chunky low end in true dub in style, overall creating an ethereal mix. 

L_cio an artist best known for his releases on Gui Boratto’s label D.O.C turns to the use of oscillating synths and a tabbing thick bass which is the core drive of his remix. A tension builder of a track, with layers that seemingly melt together.

Closing out the release is a new project from Joel Hood and Simon Mills under the alias Somethin Sanctified. So much body can be found in this bassline.
