Especial brings back, a return to the source, heading to the sunset, the special lands and divergent scene of Bristol and the West Country. Melding the psychedelic with electronic, crossing the lay lines of this septic isle, the presence of the mothership, the grail that is Glastonbury and the triangulation of Free party endeavours from the fields around Bath to Frome and on to Castelmorton.
Up and coming, DJ, promoter and more recently producer, Chez De Milo has steadily built a sound, mixing cosmic and rhythmic soundscapes, hypnotic trance rituals and psychedelic world grooves across a limited number of EPs and remixes for the growing list of labels, garnering DJ and clubbing admiration.
Stepping up a level, Et Al showcases the best of this pulsating sound, growing in confidence and stature to deliver 4 tracks of equal strength. Title track Et Al starts with a trippy, driving bomb. Swirling, building, the tight repetitive Roland 808, Nord 3pm and Arp oscillations intertwin to create a dance floor beat boy dream.

Following their first ‘DJ TOYS’ compilation, that was celebrated by DJ Mag, played at Berghain several times and drew support from DJs like Âme, Avalon Emerson, Barker, Baumecker and Ben Sims, queer feminist party collective and record label TOYS Berlin are back with their second ‘DJ TOYS’ installment. Representing the boundary-pushing sound spectrum of the TOYS universe, up-and-coming producers DAEDE, Eklekta, ASA 808, Jon Selbo, Jakob Mäder and OSO are transcending UK bass/garage, Trance and House in five forward-thinking underground gems.

This fast-paced, synth-driven track is a strong blend of energy and emotion. Troubleshoot Recordings co-founder Jon Selbo weaves together intricate layers of synthesized chords, driving baselines with ethereal vocal snippets that elevate the track, whilst adding layers of depth.
