To celebrate its 10th release, Telomere brings a VA double EP with some producers who are new to the label and some already with a release or two under their belts.

Konerytmi falls under the latter category and comes with a spacious and elastic electro funk groove that recalls the supplest of Detroit-meets-Hague sounds (remember the lighter side of Unit Moebius?), a worthy complement to their recent album on the label.

That being said I think they stand up quite well on their own, plus I really need to stop tweaking them and let go of the past for my own sanity :)

I hope this offers a nice window into the past and a view at my own influences coming together over time - expect all the usual sweeps
sonics and soundscapes, part 2 dropping next month!

Cosmoba is a brand new Manchester based imprint from Kalcagni. Fresh from releasing his ‘Manners’ EP on Distrito 91, Kalcagni dishes up 4 slices of funk fuelled electro for this label debut.
 Lead track ‘Lost In The System’ features retro stylings and gritty electro bass hooks. This is swiftly followed up by ‘Multislacking’, the result of a weekend spent twisting up a modular rig, with wonky bass squelches and 80s pads underpinned by slamming beats.  On the flip side, ‘Culture Vulture’ introduces some heavy 303 workouts, before 'After The Fact’ rounds off the EP nicely, taking the acid vibe in a slightly darker direction with wonky reese synth fills and jacked up breaks.

PREMIERE: Marine Boy - La Monde Marine Part 1 [Wormhole Wisdom]

Bolam’s ‘Suspended Animation’ EP is the first release from Space Dust – a new reality within the Alien Communications universe. On a record that’s as well-rounded as it is diverse, ‘Florion Heights’ launches the EP into the stratosphere and beyond, with high-energy drums and rich, optimistic synths leading into a euphoric crescendo, all locked together with a fat, bobbing bassline. ‘Comfort Zone’ is the perfect proceeder as you enter inter-stellar space, floating in its lavish, airy pads, deep bass and snappy broken beats… with crystal tones layered harmoniously together resulting in a track filled with positivity and charm.
