Lisbon's Magic Carpet take a different direction for their next release. Rather than focusing on contemporary cosmic sounds, for their eighth release they take a trip back in time to the mid-90s to unearth some forgotten gems from Tribal Italia producer DJ Fary. The label bosses got in touch with him in the hopes of reissuing two timeless cuts that, until now, were fetching eye-watering prices on Discogs. Stunned at what the music was going for, DJ Fary agreed to hand over the DATs of his original work so that a new discerning audience could connect with his cosmic, breaks-laced material, without paying a fortune.

Here we have part 2 of our 010 series which celebrates the now eleven day by day releases! 
With the days flying by, we hope these two various artists will help you celebrate the finite days we have on our beautiful green rock!

Starting off on the A1 we have Terrarium from ‘Primitive Needs. This techy progressive bouncing tune will keep them heads bopping!

On the A2 we have a unique track from Anderson. You can hear a cocktail of genres blending psytrance, breaks, trance, electro and more!

On the flip side, we start off with a deep and bass heavy bouncing jam from Guy Contact!

The grind was relentless, the world moving at a pace so fast that the spin could hardly hope but keep up. As the clouds passed by slowly overhead, seemingly operating on their timeline, the people down below continued to rush and hurry bound by a constant state of hustle.

It was hard to put the pieces together behind the scenes, why had they all become this way? Bound by the constraints and ideologies which left society in a state of flux.

There was always something to be doing, something to be working towards and something else to be gained from the wicked world of work.

Reformed Society is set to appear on Basic Moves – a record which according to the record label has been a long time coming. As the label puts it ‘some things take time’.

For it's 46th outing, Klasse Wrecks recruits the Brooklyn based producer Gee Dee to it's ranks. Gee Dee aka Greg Droggitis turns in a wonderful and fully fledged collection of tracks that burst to the brim with atmosphere and sunny vibrations. True to the label's ethos, the music is as always, hard to pin down under one specific genre but instead slyly calls on various classic House, Electro and Acid tropes. The overall sound is one that is both universal and transcendent, feeling familiar but still surprising. 'Dream In Colour' is indeed an apt title for the EP as it spans the musical spectrum and is a lucid and vivid trip into the imagination of this new and exciting producer.

Cosmica Bandida’s debut studio album “Lagrimas Saladas” is an amalgam of sounds influenced by the diverse
backgrounds of the members, who find themselves in Munich a city where the leftovers of cosmic music and
70s disco meet cumbia and tropical vampirism. Dark cumbia and psychedelic music collide with the moods of
space disco in an album that engages the body. The first two songs that open the

record, “5K Caballo” and “Lágrimas Saladas” explore the textures of synthesizers and the atmospheres of Co-
lombian public pools in incandescent villages, while “Pájaro del Desierto” paints desert landscapes influenced

by Turkish and Egyptian psychedelic music. Closing the A-side with “Salsa Bandida” the band pays tribute to
the basic and classic salsa rhythm in a Lo-fi reinterpretation with the Bogota fashion of cold and mountainous
tropical music making.
On the flip side, a group of eight remixers has united to deliver remixes for all the Club enthusiasts out there.
Lipelis sets vinyl lovers on fire with his Dubby Disco Remix of “Salsa Bandida”, while MaSpaventi, Volta Cab,
Los Pulpitos, and Hektisch Sprengen DJs bring their soulful and dubby trip-hop torch songs to the release.
Prepare yourself for Grischerr & Heap’s glitchy and deconstructed industrial reggaeton remix of “Pájaro del
desierto”, along with a powerful deconstructed club beatdown by Kobermann. Jacques Satre’s psychedelic
stupdep remix adds the perfect finishing touch to the package.
