Rambal Cochet debuts on Alzaya with a Vinyl-Only EP. Celebrating the interconnected strands of head-tripping hypnotic sounds, new age electronica and early/late 90s progressive house/trance, Rambal Cochet arrives on this only vinyl EP, built to elevate the dance floors. 

Since emerging in the scene, Rambal Cochet has ably demonstrated his instinct for different approaches, whether exploring expansive sonic palettes or holding down stages where he has performed. This DJ, producer and versatile music curator, throughout his career, turned his capable hand into a truly immersive listening experience. 

Dolphin's Dance is an uplifting music journey with a flavour of the good old prog sound and a dreamy atmosphere. Volantis & Nicodemo elaborated on the title track stylishly and thoughtfully. The narrative flow in Twisted Reality and Virtual Nightmare uses contrasting ecosystems to glide through distinctive spaces, unfolding with darker vibes infused with style sounds, as in Yello's 90's album "Pocket Universe". The effect is sometimes nostalgic, calling to mind pulsating rhythms, bass lines, and hypnotic melodies. 

Rambal Cochet shows again an exceptional talent for producing high-level dance music. An exquisite 4 rhythmic and stimulating club jams to be savoured and absorbed in ALZ05.

With an album (REZLP4four) of unreleased tracks from 1986-1995 out already we turn our attention to the future past and proudly present a re-release of Professor Oz's 'Proz' EP. Originally released on Olivier Le Castor's ADSR Records back in '93 it's 5 tracks that were actually recorded in Paris in the late 80's that still sound as fresh today as when they were conceived. Packing a car full of studio gear (Synths, Rhythm Box, FX etc) and taking a road trip from Strasbourg to Paris to record the EP the final result is extremely impressive for a debut record. Up The Prof !

Doppelate, a man shrouded in mystery and allure comes through with a steady builder, a roller, and a thinker, all aggregated into wav/mp3/vinyl form and uploaded to the Soundcloud environment with love and care by the legions of Four Heads employees at our London head office. It’s a slick operation, guys.

As stated above, ‘Eye Contact’ has a myriad of potentially confounding and confusing motifs and themes, all of which have been spun together with skill. Feel the percussive bass ricochet, the panning synth bathe, and the bells remind your brain to keep nodding your head. We feel this is the sort of tune which is definitely more than the sum of its parts – incredibly simple, but then also excruciatingly intricate, all within one bar.
