Six months after releasing the 'Half Light Half Dark' EP, our fellow NY-er and usual suspect here at Delayed, Aspetuck, releases a remix package. The release features incredible talent from around the globe like Adam Strömstedt, Ben Kaczor, Jónbjörn, Sanguine, Forest On Stasys, and Caldera. Each track gives a new life and unique take on Aspetuck's already exceptional originals.

Our premiere for today comes from Lyssna Records founder and KANN affiliate Adam Strömstedt. Adam creates rich atmospheres and complex rhythms that work in perfect balance in his productions, and we see that recipe works magic once again in his take on 'Holding Pattern.'
The track is driven by carefully constructed broken rhythm layered with warm, cosmic pads, which lead to a signature moment of this journey when melancholic minor piano chords create a 'call and response' effect with a catchy tom sequence. This remix is an ideal soundtrack for sunny mornings on a fog-filled dance floor.

The 'Half Light Half Dark' remix package is coming out on March 25th on Bandcamp.

Audio Reflex returns with the ‘Reflex II’ EP!

Starting off the A side we have Padding out, a hypnotic, arpeggiated groover with a deep and long bass line carrying the tune from start to finish. We then have a smooth entrance into B2, a timeless Lullaby that will captivate the air frequencies until the end of time. A trance arpeggiated sequence flying throughout the track which finally connects with a massive bass guitar bass line that brings the funk and groove in a way that will bring all the hairs on your body to a code red, goosebump state. Its a mystery how this will work on the dance floors, but something to look forward to.
The B side then starts off with another deep and trance groover leading right into the hypnotic Fungusamongus. This track will bring you on a spiritual journey leading you to look deep inside yourself and connect some of the dots you never knew existed.

The “Touch It” EP is the first release on the Party Store LTD series from Detroit’s Mister Joshooa. A techno veteran and a beast in the studio, Mister Joshooa offers up two big-bass wall-rattlers that move between techno and classic electro, reminiscent of 90s-era warehouse raves. A full length EP is slated for later this year. 

This is a limited, 50 copy dubplate release. 

Unlike conventional dubplates that are cut into acetate discs and have a limited durability, our records are custom cut onto vinyl in Florence, Italy and last as long as a traditional pressed record with comparable sound quality.

Given the limited amount of copies and the costs of the dubplates, the release has been priced at a break even point. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Serving up 4 slices of tech’d out wiggle, melding: techno, minimal, electro, and a splash of noxious chemicals, the Anxiety Bar EP comprises a variety of heavyweight d-floor weapons.

Threat Level Midnight blends a combo of idiosyncratic drum samples with an infectious bubbling synth line, a prime example of peak-time tech-house tackle. While the title track Anxiety Bar takes a dark, moody, almost gothic turn, seriously phat bass for seriously phat systems.

On the B, Integrated Lizard People slithers and slinks about gurgling synth lines and features unsettling reptilian almost-vocal sounds. Serving as a high-class closer, Fermented Feelings reigns in the trip with satisfying electro-ish drums, sauntering atop a sophisticated, warping melody

UK-born now Berlin-based artist F.GOD delivers his debut album this April, entitled ‘A Lever Long Enough’, comprising twelve original compositions and set for release on Arno Völker and Simon Birkenfeld’s Internet Is Over imprint
F.GOD, although making his musical debut here with this project, has long been working behind the scenes as a sound designer and composer with an intrinsic knowledge of sonic sculpture, something which is evident in his debut works to surface under this new artistic alias here.
F.GOD: ‘’The album title, “A Lever Long Enough”, is taken from the Archimedes quote “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it and I shall move the world.” The album is structured as a lever with two sections built around a fulcrum point near the center. The idea is that maybe a record could be a lever with which
to move the world spiritually or emotionally.’’
Across the twelve-track collection that makes up the ‘A Lever Long Enough’ LP, F.GOD offers up an array of sonic experiments, weaving together influences from ambient, early 2000’s IDM, electronica and more. Title track ‘A Lever Long Enough’ comes in two parts, both of which merge together subtly unfurling atmospherics, glitched out rhythms and heavy doses of sub bass. Tracks like ‘FILO (First In Last Out)’ and ‘Bisting Bridge’ see F.GOD delivering raw synth
experimentation as bridges between more intricate and refined cuts like ‘Bisting Wretchface’, ‘Cruden’s Concordance’, ‘I Shall Move The World’, ‘3st 4’ and ‘The Luddites Were Right’ which all blend together baroque, dynamic rhythms and nuanced, shimmering sound design. Further beatless contributions come in the form of ‘A Fulcrum (To Place It)’, ‘The City Sighs In Relief’ and ‘Subtle Virtues Of Wood’, bringing further focus on F.GOD’s ability to create cinematic and emotive synth textures.

Funnuvojere is thrilled to present Couple Looking, a new project uniting the label’s mastermind Massimiliano Pagliara with fellow Berlin-based dj Chris Cruse. Celebrated on the international electronic scene, Cruse is the force behind Los Angeles’ finest queer party Spotlight, and part of the crew behind the legendary Club Toilet in Detroit.

This cheeky duo invites listeners into their world of rich sonic textures and uplifting pitches. This is evident in the juxtaposition of raw and refined acid lines of A1 "For The Remote," and the distortions that characterise also A2 "For A Snack." On the B side they're looking "For K+," an addictive Balearic groove interweaving luxurious pianos and other-worldly vocals. In the end, they are looking "For You" in the B2: a future classic Italo pop song heralding new possibilities, good advice and sweet resolutions.

SNARETRADE : ‘’Next in line in the Snaretrade series is an EP by one of our favourite people: Gols. He operates the Hoot label, has released with Ghent label/party Ojoo and has been crafting tracks low key for a long time.
We start out with dessert: In Au bain marie we’re given some elegant yet hard to follow instructions on how to make the perfect chocolate mousse. DJ and Knetterbar operator Yentl kindly lent her voice, not knowing the recording would be used as a final take.
In Hundreds and Thousands, Gols weaves thick layers of percussion and synths, forming a dense and deep structure that pulls us in. In the midst of moving his music studio, this track was the last one to be recorded before pulling the plugs and boxing the gear up. On the flipside, Regrooved is a shuffling, sneaky and amusing bit of house that never really admits if it’s just arriving at the party, or just about to leave. After-hour fare for those who like something sweet after dinner. ‘’
